Summary

Who needs a Master Wizard anyway?

Major Wilbur Wiggles doesn't know it yet, but all four of his older brothers have been killed in combat. The military brass has tried to notify him, but the Major's squad has gone dark because their radios are out.

Spotting an opportunity, the Fates summon Gungren for the second leg of his three-part Fate Quest. They task him with hunting down Major Wiggles on behalf of the army. His goal is to find the man, get him to army headquarters, and then take him back home so that Mrs. Wiggles doesn't lose her only remaining son.

As if that wasn't tough enough, Gungren and Whizzfiddle had a falling out.

That means Gungren won't have his master's help during this quest...or will he?

Great addition to the ononokin series

I was given a free copy of this book for an honest review. I love this series. They’re always fun and full of silly situations. The characters are adorable as normal and there’s a good amount of humour thrown in. I felt sorry for major wiggles in the end even though he’s a tit

Another Humorous tale

In part 2 of 3 of this series arc as we go questing again with our intrepid heroes namely Whizzfiddle and Grungen have to do the saving private Ryan bit. And it seem the reality show is showing unexpected dividends all allowing for plenty a chuckle and smile. Another 5 stars all the way and can't wait to see what happens in the 3rd quest.

Why so Lord of the Rings serious, have a chuckle.

I enjoyed the humor, story and general tom foolery of it all. A delight of a fantasy book that doesn`t take itself too serious to boot.

Another fun romp

The continuing adventures of Gungren - this series just keeps on getting better. If you haven't read the earlier installments, do that first.

Fun new book in Ononokin

I've been enjoying this series since the beginning and this is a solid addition to the series. This is the middle of the three book arc about the wizard finishing his fate quests. It has some good jokes and the story moves at a brisk pace.

I received a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

More fun with Gungren

I received a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

This was probably my favorite Ononokin story so far. Gungren, Whizzfiddle, Wilbur Wiggles, and Private Lostalot were a cast of characters that kept me giggling from start to finish.

The Ononokin world just keeps expanding and I will keep listening.

Another fun story from the world of Ononokin

Gungren is sent on his second fate quest to search for a missing major during the war.

This was another fun listen. Jus does a wonderful job narrarating and bringing the comical world and words of John P Logsdon to life. Can't wait until the next book is released
