About this listen

On the besieged planet of Kepler 186f, a Marine platoon races against time to rescue civilians from an army of unstoppable Ghosts.

Dropship pilot Justin Ceguerra is living through his own private hell, until the mission offers an unlikely chance of redemption.

This short story is set in the universe of Extinction Protocol, a hard science fiction series with a chilling twist, from New York Times best-selling author Felix R. Savage.

It took a few minutes to grow into the freighter and the rescue mission being attempted but then the novella sparkled. The author writes well, hard S.F., peopled with real characters as well as ideas, and leaves the reader wanting more. Enough to lead me into starting book.one in the Extinction Protocol series, The Chemical Mage.
Narrated by David Thorpe, his performance was plausible but a little rough around the edges

I’m really sorry to leave this review but I could not listen to the whole thing because of the narration. I’m sure the story would have been great.

Sorry terrible narration
