An Age Gap Dark Mafia Romance

Savage Tracker by Maggie Cole is an age gap dark mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott. This is the fifth book in the Mafia Wars series. The book can be read as a standalone but the stories are interconnected.

I absolutely love Maggie's books! She does an amazing job pulling me into the story. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Selena and Obrecht. The chemistry between them was off the charts. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait for the next book in the series Unchosen Ruler to be released on September 1, 2021 so I can get Liam and Hailee's story.

Kai and Wen did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you love mafia romances, dark romances, age gap romances, or romantic suspense.

Gripping storyline

This is a well written storyline. These characters seem to grow so much with each book that goes by. It was a heartbreaking yet necessary insight into the world of someone who has been mistreated in a previous relationship. I can’t get enough of these characters and this world that has been created by Maggie well done. Absolutely fantastic performance from both Kai and Wen.

Phemomonal!

Maggie Cole! This was an amazing listen! The final chapter in the Ivanov family part of Mafia Wars, we are treated to Obrecht's story. The Savage Tracker is a strong, alpha dom, but when he meets Selena we get to see a different side of him. Selena has come out of an abusive marriage, and is having difficulty adjusting to her new life. After years of physical and mental abuse, it isn't easy for her to move on. Obrecht's frustration is evident at times, but his incredible patience and determination to help her is beyond beautiful. These two share a connection like none of the other couples. Their frank discussion and honesty had me captivated throughout the story. Add in the family dynamic of the Ivanov mother, the garage, the deal with Liam and the explosive ending of the story are all reasons I love this series. All the books are set at during the same timeline, which is so much fun, as we get to see and remember the others as their stories also came together. This is a fantastic series and I think this is my favorite couple so far! I can't wait to see where the O'Malley faction is going to take us next!

Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are one of my favorite teams, and their performance of this book is fantastic! Kennicott plays Selena, her accent spot on and her brokenness coming through with ease. But what I truly loved was the underlying strength she has in her voice letting us know exactly the kind of woman Selena is. Complimenting her performance, Wen uses his Russian accent, one of my favorites of his, as Obrecht. The alpha male is protective, yet Ross comes through with a tenderness that is unmistakably beautiful. I loved their portrayal of the story!

BRILLIANT way to end the series 💕

🎧📚 Narrators Wen Ross & Kai Kennicott.
Maggie has done amazing job on narrators especially on this one. this book is very emotional read and they performed it BRILLIANTLY. Selena is confused on BDSM & Obrecht helps her understand what is wrong & correct. You can feel Selena's confusion & embarrassment on how she was so naive to may TWAT Jack. Feel Obrecht protective nature over her & BLOOD CURDLING ANGER towards Jack. Frustration over Liam telling him he can't kill him until the O'Malley's new money is in place. Wen & Kai you did beautiful job and your voice work together nicely. Both did good impressions on male & female voice for each other. FULL MARKS

We have saved the best Ivanov for last AND my favourite character Obreacht & Adrian's mam Svetlana. She just makes me smile and she loves bridals magazines😆 I am happy she found some to love too

Now back to the loved birds Obrecht & Selena. Selena's story with touched on with Kora in Cruel Enforcer. But we see more what cruelty & abuse she was under by her ex husband Jack. He took her away from her home country, Greek Islands. Then her family turn their backs on her. She is truely alone and she got use to it in the 10 years she was with him.

Obrecht was a signed to watch over Selena & he is a brilliant tracker. He is a good man and this friendship with Selena develops into something more. He wants to help understand the BDSM world and what it truly means to he top & bottom. He asks his friend Carla to help Selena understand the world & have someone to talk to. She is a therapist & she helps alot of people the BDSM community that suffer from adsuse etc. He push her in the right direction to understand herself & to live again

Their story is a page turner because you want to know does she understand the world & help to move past vicious memories & nightmares. Obrecht is patient with her until she was ready. Their love story is steamy & their undying love is breathe taking especially when....no spoilers...

What Maggie did in this book was mean because, Obrecht & Selena are happy and I love then BANG !! The villains come in when they are happy and in love but don't worry he gets his girl back. BUT BUT BUT there is still a mystery around O’Malley's new money and how it links to TWAT Jack a.k.a Selena ex husband...

Yes the suspense killed in this one especially when it was certained around the wars in Chicago. Ivanov & O’Malley's are getting ready for it...

We also got little hints of Liam & Hailee 😍 yes I will admit Liam is my favourite 🥰

The last line of the book got me VERY EXCITED🍀Liam's story is coming!!

WOW! JUST WOW!

This book has been educational,/ intruding/ hot/hot / HOT!

I am slowly making my way thru this series, and and after Maxim and his brothers stories, I thought that the intrigue would tail off. I adored Adrian's story, but this story was all about Selena for me, and I have to say I would love to watch this book as a film.
On to the next book for me immediately!

This is the fifth book in the Mafia Wars Series, an Age Gap Dark Mafia Romance. This is a standalone romance in an interconnected series. Selena and Obrecht's story is well written, and emotional. They share a sizzling chemistry. Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross did an amazing job with the narration. Looking forward to listening to Unchosen Ruler, the next book in the Series.

excellent series

these first 4books have had captivating story lines. hot in places: but brilliant interconnected stories. I have really enjoyed these. I am unable to stop listening. The narrators have been fabulous. I hope the rest are as good.
