Summary

Asher Henderson. Captain of the Highnam Academy football team, and the bane of my existence.

As Alstone High’s team captain, I’ve been pitted against him from the beginning, but our conflict isn’t only reserved for the pitch. Everyone knows we’re enemies. From our first encounter, our rivalry has been escalating, spiraling out of control. Until one night when everything between us changed.

He pushed me too far, and we crossed a line that should never have been crossed. Now, I can’t get him out of my head. Can we ever be more than rivals, or are there too many obstacles in our way? One thing I know for sure. Things between us will never be the same again.

Savage Rivals is a stand-alone M/M new adult high school romance with enemies-to-lovers and gay-awakening themes. This audiobook contains mature situations and content.

Note: Originally included in the Brutal Boys on Devils Night collection, this edition of Savage Rivals has been expanded with additional content.

Amazing

I can’t express how much I love this book Asher and Levi are perfect together . They always say there’s a fine line between love and hate and those two proved it. James Joseph and Will Watt were the perfect narrators for this .

These two 🥵🥵

I loved this book the first time I read it and honestly didn’t think it could get any better! However, hearing it with two voice actors just made it so much better!!!

These two boys own my heart and this is 100% my favourite MM romance of all time! Becca just keeps nailing it with her books and audiobooks! Cannot wait to see what she does next!

mmmm love these savages;)

Love the glimpse that we got of Levi & Ash in the Brutal Boys collection!! You know what they say about love & hate and they have that in spades🔥❤️

Absolutely love the rest of their story!! I love that Levi’s parents were cool AF about Ash and I’m also glad that Becca wrote Ash’s mom as a little resistant. We get to see both sides of coming out. It’s not always easy and that side should be shown as well. I was so very happy that she did accept Ash & Levi. It just takes some parents a bit longer to get past their idea of who you should love.

Will & James are just the right amount of gruff & alpha. They are scorching as Levi & Ash🥵

Love their epilogue💕 seriously!! How cool is Levi’s job😍

Asher and Levi are the captains of their rival football (soccer) clubs and their rivalry extends off the pitch also. Determined to get under each other's skin whenever they can, one incident changes everything they thought they knew.

I loved this book when I read it and loved it even more after listening to it. The tension and chemistry between Asher and Levi burn hot and fierce. The journey from bitter rivals to fierce loyalty kept me glued to the book.

James Joseph and Will Watt did a fantastic job bringing Asher, Levi and the story to life. I especially loved that it was duet narration.

Savage Rivals is an mm, high school, rivals-to-lovers, enemies-to-lovers, gay awakening told in the dual first-person point of view.

Will Levi and Asher ever stop this fighting?

Male/Male Romance✅
Enemies to Lovers✅

Plot 5✨
Spice 5🌶️

Asher is the captain of the Highnam Academy football team.
Levi is the captain of the Alstone High football team.
Both boys are in their last year and want to make it the best, but one thing stands in their way. Their hatred for each other. They are in the middle of a heated feud with no end in sight.

When Levi and his team completely destroy Highnam's gym, locker room, and uniforms it is time for revenge. There is only one way for this to end and that is if Asher beats Levi in the bowl, with his bare fist. Only one problem Levi refuses to fight him one on one.

Levi wants to bring Asher to his knees but doesn't want to fight him in the bowl. After they break into his home to squirt Tequila all over his media room, his teammates think it is over. Levi on the other hand knows something is coming. He finally figures it out the night before Halloween, Fright Night. Now he just has to stop Asher no matter what it takes.

One unexpected kiss later.
How will Asher and Levi deal with the fact that maybe they don't hate each other that much?
Will Asher still want to fight Levi?
Will this feud ever stop, or will it destroy everyone involved?

The first time I ever read this book I was in love. In true enemies to lovers' fashion, there is so much tension, lust, and hatred between Asher and Levi to keep you addicted. I have never listened to a book being read to me before and I thought I wasn't missing out on anything important. I was proven so wrong. Reading a book is amazing but hearing someone bring the characters you love to life is earth-shattering, at least for me it was.
Becca did an amazing job selecting the right individuals to bring Levi and Asher alive. James and Will did her amazing work justice. I was worried my brain would wander off to other things while listening but once again I was proven wrong. Their voices and how they read the story kept me hanging on to every word. Just like when I read, I was transported into the story and watched it play out before my eyes.
James and Will made me feel everything the characters felt with the way they spoke during different parts of the book. I could hear the tension, hatred, and even the lust I spoke of early. My addiction to this story has just grown 100% and I will be pressing play on this story many times in the future.

I loved Savage Rivals when I read it, but I had no idea what I was in for when listening to it! The narrators did a phenomenal job and kept me engaged through the whole story. This was the first MM book that I've listened to and it's a spicy one. I definitely recommend wearing headphones when you listen.
