My first book by this author and a pleasant surprise. The characters are interesting and there are some surprises. It appears to be set in the late 80s 90s at a time when AIDS was an emerging issue, the subject is dealt with well.

I really enjoyed this cat and mouse hunt. It was a great story of a cunning monster hunting his victims while one of his victims is hunting him and it is wonderfully narrated.
