Summary
From #1 New York Times bestselling author Ilona Andrew comes an enthralling new trilogy set in the Hidden Legacy world, where magic means power, and family bloodlines are the new currency of society…
In a world where magic is the key to power and wealth, Catalina Baylor is a Prime, the highest rank of magic user, and the Head of her House. Catalina has always been afraid to use her unique powers, but when her friend’s mother and sister are murdered, Catalina risks her reputation and safety to unravel the mystery.
But behind the scenes powerful forces are at work, and one of them is Alessandro Sagredo, the Italian Prime who was once Catalina’s teenage crush. Dangerous and unpredictable, Alessandro’s true motives are unclear, but he’s drawn to Catalina like a moth to a flame.
To help her friend, Catalina must test the limits of her extraordinary powers, but doing so may cost her both her House–and her heart.

The only one downside I have with so many Series is the way the powers that be seem to think that we all have the memory of a goldfishes tail!! I do not need to spend the first ten minutes of each book going over what has happened in the previous books. If readers see there is a Series of books they would most definitely start with Book 1 and even if there is a time lapse between that and when the next book is available…you have the book and can read it again for yourself if needs be. I end up starting each book totally frustrated waiting for the story (that I already know) to begin and continue. I can, sort of, understand this premise for Episodes in a tv series but, fail to see the reason in books and audio books as it is very rare that a reader would discard either before finishing the whole of a Series therefore making the reason for a reminder totally redundant!
Loving This Series
