From #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts comes a seductive and suspenseful novel of dangerous liaisons and family betrayals…

Photographer Jo Ellen Hathaway thought she'd escaped the house called Sanctuary long ago. She'd spent her loneliest years there, after the sudden, unexplained disappearance of her mother. Yet the sprawling inn on an island off the Georgia coast continues to haunt her dreams. And now, even more haunting are the pictures someone is sending her: strange close-ups and candids, culminating in the most shocking portrait of all—a photo of her mother—naked, beautiful, and dead.

Now Jo must return to the island, and to her bitterly estranged family. With the help of Nathan Delaney—who was on the island the summer her mother disappeared—Jo hopes to learn the truth about the tragic past. But Sanctuary may be the most dangerous place of all.

'Sanctuary' was a delight to listen too. It kept me on the edge of my seat to the very end, trying to work out who was 'the one'.
This was my second audio book. The first being 'Bed of Roses' also by Nora Roberts. Bed of Roses is the second installment of the 'Bride Quartet' I would recommend these two books as well as 'Vision in White': Bride Quartet book one. Truly great reads.

Fantastic book

If you like a book with plenty of drama and secrets in the cupboard, then this book is perfect. This novel follows the lives of the Hatthaway family as they struggle to rebuild their lives after a personal tragedy, but the past comes back to haunt them in more ways than one. This book has romance, drama and mystery and most importantly in my opinion, great characters. I've found Nora Roberts a little hit and miss but this is certainly one of her hits.

Fantastic Family Saga

The ability to describe sex is well known by Nora Robert's readers. In Sanctuary she indulges in so many so perfect intercourses that at least I get bored. Is this "female porn"? There is never a hint of even the slightest problem or difficulty in all those simultaneous perfect orgasms following one after the other. They overshadow the main plot to such a degree that any serious reader/listener must become quite fed up

Suspense and too perfect sex

Enjoyed it overall, but characters behaving out of their created character is a bit annoying. The rape seen should not have been included in such detail.

Infuriating

I really enjoyed this book the four or five story’s about people all running parallel with each other . The romance. I also enjoyed the southern accent xx

The intrigue
