Summary
A Space Wolves audio drama boxed set.
In the aftermath of the Thousand Sons' invasion of Fenris, Wolf Lord Ragnar Blackmane is thrown into danger as he hunts a dangerous beast in a quest that will decide the fate of the galaxy.
Listen to it because: Experience the latest chapter in the saga of Ragnar Blackmane in an all-action full-cast audio drama serial that pits the Young Wolf against one of the greatest – and most terrifying – warriors of the 41st Millennium.
The story: Glory returns to Fenris. Magnus the Red and his traitorous legion are defeated upon the icy cliffs of the Space Wolves’ home world, their hollow remains scattered into the darkest depths of the World Sea. Yet Ragnar Blackmane, the youngest Wolf Lord in his Chapter’s noble history, does not feel victorious. He is uneasy. Uncertain of his purpose and place in the great war for the Imperium.
Until a vision strikes him of a terrible beast, one greater than any he or his warriors have faced before. A monster that it is his destiny to confront. The young king throws himself into a quest to meet this fate, for no Space Wolf can turn from the call of his wyrd. Alongside a small band of Space Wolves, Ragnar Blackmane begins what is certain to be an odyssey for the ages, on which will hinge not only the fate of a single warrior, but of the entire galaxy.
Written by David Annandale. Performed by Tom Alexander, Charles Armstrong, Gareth Armstrong, Ian Brooker, Steve Conlin, Andrew Fettes, Jonathan Keeble, Colleen Prendergast, Jon Rand and Richard Reed.

Really Games Workshop.
I will try not to spoil the story for those who haven't listened to it yet, but despite this being a truly great story they will have to work hard to appease people due to the ending of this.
For all wolf fans and orkameadies clan members this is a must listen

I'm speechless.. it is just, absolutely amazing!
WOW! What a truly epic audio drama. I listened to it as I painted and felt like I was right there in the story with the characters. The scenes, sound effects, dialogue and overall story were just something out of a triple A movie. Whether or not you're a fan of Space Wolves, the Imperium or even Warhammer itself... this is a MUST listen. I much look forward to future audio book releases akin to this. 10/10, kudos Black Library and all who were involved in this creation.
Pros:
EPIC - an storyline of epic proportions, I truly felt like I was there with the Norse/Viking inspired futuristic warriors that the Space Wolves are.
Brilliant Narration - every single voice actor in this drama was fantastic, even those that had only minor parts added so much depth and realism to the story. I can still hear their words as I look back on it now. Absolutely superb!
Cons:
Absolutely none. I could say that the story is too short though in honesty, I think that it is just the right amount. If the story had gone on for any longer it would have maybe made it feel too long and drawn out. This was just the right length to listen to. Perfect for an afternoon of painting.

An actual audio drama!
I’m not accustomed to Black Library producing full-blown audio dramas but this was superbly written and performed by all involved - I hope there’ll be more in the future!
Even if you’re not the biggest fan of the Space Wolves I would still recommend this as it’s a solid tale and, as I’ve already mentioned, it’s a chance to hear a different and much appreciated approach.

A saga worthy of Valhalla
The black library is full of great stories and saga of the beast is one such.
The audio drama style is really engaging with fantastic performances all round.
If you are looking for a more bite sized 40K story to enjoy then look no further, obviously the main focus here is on the space wolves but there are some stand out moments featuring the second sons and the orcs too.

Truly great audiobook
New to audiobooks having read some warhammer books in the past I gave this a go as my first audiobook and have to say I was blown away, the story itself is fantastic but the way it has been enhanced via audiobook is amazing, extremely immersive and engaging I really hope if anyone’s looking through reviews for their next read I highly recommend this title
