In 2015, a brutal murder forces those three men, now in their 60s, to journey back to London and finally confront the dark truth they have run from for five decades.

Really loved this book from beginning to end. Covers 50 years from the 60s. Excellent accurate social history as the backdrop to a murder. Told with humour. Did not want it to end as the characters were all interesting and real. Will certainly listed to more Peter May. Narration was excellent just the right voice.

Love Peter May books but was a little underwhelmed by this one. Guess I was hoping for more an Enzo / Lewis thriller type of read.

Fine, but not gripping
