Summary

Welcome to Junebug Farms, a successful, well-known animal shelter in upstate New York, where every day brings something new - love, stress, heartbreak, warmth - and not just from the animals.

Catherine Gardner knows what it means to work hard. Growing up with little, it's pretty much all she's done for most of her life. As the bookkeeper for Junebug Farms, she handles the money. When Catherine finds herself undeniably attracted to Emily Breckenridge, daughter of the shelter's largest donor, it doesn't sit well with her. At all.

Emily Breckenridge has spent her life in the shadows of both her family's money and her brother, Clark. But when the reins of the family's charity foundation are taken from Clark and handed to Emily, it's her chance to shine on her own. Everything about Catherine Gardner is unexpected, from her emotional reserve to the crazy magnetic pull she has...one Emily can't seem to fight.

lovely story

I loved this story. so passionate , so believable, the narrator has a wonderful, mesmerising voice. My emotions were everywhere especially when Clark throws a spanner in the works!
A must-read.

Love!!!

Georgia Beers never fails, and this book just adds to that fact! I lovers this book! The story, the patience of the character Emily, the jerk of a brother she had, and the delicate persona of Catherine. Mix in all the other characters and it made for a great story.
The narrator did such an amazing job with all the characters...it was like being a part of the story. Her voice for each character drew you in and drew a picture of the characters that Georgia laid out for the reader/listener. The affliction and emotion in Abby Craden's voice was so refreshing. It had me on the edge of my seat one minute and in tears the next...the emotion, the emotion, THE EMOTION she delivered was superb!!! Kudos to you Abby Craden!!! And to you Georgia thanks for the great stories!!

I loved that crossword puzzle moment.

Have you listened to any of Abby Craden’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Boring.

The first one in the series was typical and cute, but this should not be a series. It was boring, nothing really happened. Plus the authors sexual writing is similar in all her books so it felt repetitive. I didn’t finish.

Junebugfarms

Once again G.B. has knocked another book out of the park. Got one left to read/listen to before the series is finished. Off to the next series, saving this last G.B.book until next month.

Georgia Beers Run to You Puppy Love Romance Series

As much as the series is entitled Puppy Love, these women are falling deep. But the puppies/cats are getting adopted. This book in the series addressed Catherine the accountant <waggling eyebrows>. She sounds hot and stunning. The escape artist Geronimo is a classy touch to pull Catherine's heart strings.

Emily Breckinridge is very likable and seems to have her stuff together. I really disliked the whole bet issue from the get go but plot is plot. And I'd already ran into Catherine in another book from this series so I was very interested to know her story. Georgia gave me a good read.

Abby Craden read it with delicious dulcet tones that made me shiver. Very nice. As much as I love her, I read all three books in the series together and she did change up a few voices here and there which torked me a smidge.

Get it. Read it. Let Abby read it to you. Just go get it.

I loved the story and would give it 5 stars, but I didn’t like that the dog got hurt. Not cool, ms Beers! You only get 4 stars this time.

Great Read/Listen

I enjoyed the first book, but had some issues with the main characters, especially Lisa, and the lack of chemistry. However, this book was so so much better and the chemistry was off the charts! Emily was smart, fun, and funny! The love story between Catherine and Emily was a a great time.
