I really didn’t like the way this was read with the reader adopting an odd gruff tome when the men spoke. I don’t know really how it could have been different but the way it was done made it rather unconvincing. I listened to this because it was a book choice but am now ordering the written version because I think the story might be more convincing if I can ‘hear’ the male voices rather than the ‘pretend’ gruffness.
