The sixth novel in the Alex Cross detective series. A series of meticulously planned bank robberies ends in murder, and detective Alex Cross must pit his wits against the bizarre and sadistic mastermind behind the crimes. Although torn between dedication to his job and commitment to his family, Cross cannot ignore the case, despite the risks he knows will come with hunting down a killer - and the heart-breaking cost. James Patterson's bestseller takes us from deep inside the crazy world of a psychopath's masquerade right to the heart of fiction's most brilliant detective, and is an explosive tale where mind games lead to violence and the slightest mistake will be punished with death.

Having become a fan of the Alex Cross books, I got this and Violets are blue together, pleased I did. They were fast paced and well narrated, made me what to hear more.

Enjoyed this

I enjoyed it thoroughly. I have a lot of the James Patterson books. The Murder Club are ones I am in the middle of reading actual in the book form. I have read some of the Alex Cross series in book form also but wanted to try them from the beginning in audible which I have enjoyed up to now so I am glad I chose to. I listened to this book while cleaning and have found I forget that I am, so house duties seem to fly by and will carry on doing so for the foreseeable future.

I am now on for the next one Violets are Blue so I am looking forward to more twists and turns which I think the narrator helps to deliver each time

I love the Patterson books

I really enjoyed Rose's are Red , it looks into Alex's personal life in a bit more detail as well as keeping a fast pace in the detective world.
The only thing I found a bit odd is John Samson doesn't appear as much as normal
There are plot twist right up to the very end that keep you guessing .
A good book !
