Summary

Jeff Kinney's highly anticipated sequel to his #1 New York Times best-selling Diary of a Wimpy Kid chronicles Greg Heffley's creative efforts to dodge middle-school hazards, dazzle the girls, avoid talent shows, and - above all - guard his embarrassing secret.

Ramón de Ocampo's spot-on narration enhances Kinney's authentic portrait of adolescent angst and madcap hilarity.

Maybe you do need to see the drawings!

I really enjoyed the first book, partially because Ramone de Ocampo does such a brilliant job as narrator. And he does a great job in this sequel, but I find I have more and more difficulty trying to sympathize with the main character. Okay, he was a whiny little brat in the first book, but the schtick starts to run thin in the second. I read in a review of the first book that it really helped to see the drawings that accompanied the text in the book version -- I didn't know that there were drawings!

Kids may enjoy the book -- and there were some really good moments in it, but adults will tire of this character quickly.

Ha

This is so funny but when you listen to them again and again the whole thing gets so boring it helps you get to sleep after the first 2 times. It is very funny and it will make you laugh !

Would you listen to Rodrick Rules again? Why?
