Not for me

I always loved Cecilia's books but I have not enjoyed this one or Flawed. I couldn't get past the 3rd or 4th chapter.
Sorry

Amazing book and amazing narrative - feminist genius

It’s almost like Cecilia Ahern has crawled into the head of every woman to create this modern feminist gem of a book. There’s a story here for us all and not just one, I struggle to pick a favourite and identify with plenty. A funny moral for today’s world. Read it or listen to it and be moved.

Beautifully Crafted

A remarkable collection that all women AND men should listen to. Her usual way of seeing the mundane differently.

Incredible

Absolutely wonderful, a fabulous piece of literature and commentary on modern society, full of morals. I plan to re-listen and re-read. Can not recommend highly enough. Beautifully narrated. Thank you!

lose yourself to find yourself

Fun fiction resonating with strong emotional messages. Though focused on women these sassy snapshots relate to all walks of humanity

Disappointed with this one

I usually love this author but this book fell seriously short of the mark. Sad because I was desperate for her next book. Never been disappointed by Cecelia Ahern before.

Unexpectedly different

For some reason I expected more chick lit style. I was wrong. This is such a clever book. Great stories that make you laugh, think about yourself and more. Cecelia's literal interpretation of idioms and commonly used phrases is so different e.g. the woman who was feather brained having an actual feather in her brain. Pieces on women trying to keep everything going and present as calm and in control are insightful. It actually makes those feelings REAL and I think I will probably reference many to myself when I too have those feelings in the future. Also the narrators are brilliant!
