About this listen

Abducted from Earth over a year ago, Lauren spent most of that time getting accustomed to her new life as one of the "animals" in an alien zoo.

Enjoyed the book but definitely not one of the best I have read, it was a little slow to get to the main story, good narration and I liked the characters

Easy listen to, build up of the story was ok to. Enjoyable enough, felt predictable, but that was ok. For in my ears while I cleaned out the shed and walked the dogs, didn't have to focus hard or worry about missing bits and have to catch up, sometimes it's nice to just have an easy listen as you get on with things. This was one of those, however the love scene at the end was the best bit lol.

the author clearly has an excellent sense of humour. this book has some really funny parts that made me lol. the story is really good as well. really imaginative world building. I really.like the description of tlall the cute animals.
I enjoyed the narrator. I thought she did the different voices well without it being too put-on which makes it cringe to me when voice actors do that.
I would recommend this book and have already bought the next in the series to listen to.
