cats

Well I started reading this because my eleven-year-old begged me to read this series as it is her favorite. now I just finished reading book four and I'm almost embarrassed to admit but it has completely caught me up emotionally and I can't wait to see what happens next. The very last sentence almost knocked me off my seat.

Probably my least favorite...

Don't get me wrong, I love this series so far as a first time reader. But out of the four I have read, I found this one to be the most boring so far. It didn't have me on the edge of my seat as much and the end was pretty predictable. I did get misty-eyed when one of my favorite characters died but beyond that, this one didn't grab me a lot. Bluestar was actually annoying me greatly in this book. I really hope she is not like this forever in the next book because the whole "to hell with starclan" attitude is really obnoxious and selfish. Yeah we get it, Tigerclaw betrayed you, get over it. She acts like she's a bitter ex he who got cheated on. It's getting old. She's rapidly becoming my least favorite character. Overall, the story is just kind of meh for me. Cloudpaw annoyed me more than anything, Fireheart's stuggle as deputy was the only thing that really had my interest, and I wish Greystripe was more present than he was. The appearence of Ravenpaw was nice though. I've also grown a bit of a fondness to the Riverclan for their constant generosity and courage to help a clan when it is needed. I do hope Windclan turns around though.

Fire alone can save our clan.

I was very surprised at the end of the book when TigerSTAR came to the gathering. I also can’t believe that Sandstorm is in love with Fireheart. ❤️

Thank you yellowfang. WARNING SPOILERS.

YELLOWFANG

With eyes the color of her name, and her endless courage that burns as bright and true as a candle in the night. Thank you yellowfang, who was a mentor to thunderclan’s best medicine cat, cinderpelt, but she was no much more. To so many. She saved so many lives, and risked her own life, never in vain.

To yellowfang, who is chasing mice in starclan.

“My only regret is not being able to see you become what starclan has meant you to be.” - yellowfang to fireheart in RISING STORM.
