Summary

Fletcher and Scoop are Apprentice Adventurers from the ancient establishment of Blotting's Academy on Fullstop Island, the place where all story characters are trained. The trouble is, they can't remember how they got there.

It's the first day of term, but the two apprentices soon realize something is wrong. Things are going missing, including their own memories, and Scoop has the unsettling feeling that something is creeping in the shadows.

As the children search for answers, they become entangled with the life of the Storyteller, the island's creator and king. They journey to his wedding banquet and find themselves uncovering a hidden past. What is their connection to this mysterious man? And is there more to him than meets the eye?

Rise Of The Shadow Stealers

Would you listen to Rise of the Shadow Stealers again? Why?

I don't usually re-visit a story once I've finished it, but I I thoroughly enjoyed this and can't wait to listen to the next installment.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Rise of the Shadow Stealers?

In the caves, when Scoop realises that she and Fletcher are siblings.

What about Alaina Wis’s performance did you like?

Ms Wis has a clear and pleasant voice which unobtrusively draws you into the story.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and I did!

Any additional comments?

A lovely lost afternoon. Thanks!
