Summary

White knuckles. Sweat. Heart pounding in his chest. Drake knew there was no turning back now. It was his first time, and he needed to be the best.

When Drake escaped, all he wanted was his freedom. The omega wolf wasn’t interested in being tied down, not even to the Alpha of his pack. However, when he runs low on cash, the blonde-haired wanderer decides to participate in an amateur rodeo. With the prize money, he can keep his independence.

There’s just one problem. He’s never ridden a bull in his life.

Dark-haired Gabe is an alpha with a past filled with loss and pain. It’s hardened him to the outside world and left him with little tolerance for his own kind. As a loner, he’s spent the past decade enjoying isolation on his ranch.

However, everything changes when Drake comes asking for a teacher. Gabe finds his awakening desires want to show the young omega so much more than just bull riding. Sparks fly, and when the dust settles, these two studs will have to decide if it’s time to put aside their pasts and blaze a new trail together.

Ride of Your Life is a passionate gay romance that will rope you in with its seductive content, graphic details, and knock your boots off!

as good as the ebook

The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B

Gabe and Drake

First time author and narrator and they did a wonderful job bringing Drake a omega wolf who leaves his pack to finding Gabe a Ranch owner alpha who has disbanded his pack many years ago and doesn't want anything to do with wolves, but somehow these 2 were meant for each other. Loved it

Slow Burn.

Great book and I felt connected with Drake and Gabe throughout their journey together. It was a slow burn but worth the wait.

Great listen.

Drake and Gabe's story is such a great listen. I like that Drake isn't a typical Omega. I love story like that. Drake and Gabe are perfect for each other and I like the whole western style of the story. Then Stone Canon did a great job with the narration.

A slow burn

I was really in this to the end but it was a slow starter and the action and romance were slow in coming. It built nicely and the reader had a nice slow drawl, but with the slow start it also made it a bit difficult at first. Yet the ending was worth the slow climb. I especially loved the character Stan.
