First of all I have to confess I don't really get romanticising the Mafia. But I thought I'd give it a go. I like a baddy with good qualities and an actual character but this plot was pretty ridiculous. The serial killer Mafia queen of ALL mafias, who goes on every job? With a stalker recording her every move which she's completely unconcerned about? Sells drugs but puts random people through rehab? Saves children, domestic violence victims and anyone in general? Breaks down at the slightest hint of trouble? Too silly.
Plenty of spice which I enjoyed and although there's quite a lot of men involved they all had different characters. I'm afraid I won't be reading the second book.
Narrators were good.

I stumbled upon the audio while I was looking for a good book while I walk. I've absolutely loved the story and spice. 6* for sure. I can't wait to read/listen to the next one

The storyline is hot, but Patrick Zeller made me clutch my imaginary pearls and check I definitely had my headphones in 😂. Definitely listen to this book!

definitely missed an amazing opportunity to make this duet narrative, however, Patrick Zeller did a pretty good job doing the different voices, sometimes they became the same during different character chapters which was difficult to focus on who I was suppose to be listening to. I didn't particularly like how he made Holden sound, he sounded scared and weak all the time when he's actually a very strong character. Overall though the book was very well read and the voice actors did a good job
