Summary

If you want to stop overthinking, feel nervous, and worry about the future, continue reading...

  • Do you want to create better behaviors with little effort every day?
  • Do you want to realize your goals of life faster?
  • Are you looking for peace of mind and a more relaxed life?

Nowadays, with all the stress that we gather at work, kids, school, money...It's effortless to slip into bad habits that do nothing but worsen our lives, increase our fears, worry, stress, and lead to a sedentary, weak, and unhealthy lifestyle.

We have a lot of expectations of us and our loved ones, to increase our monetary profits, to lose excess weight, to find an ideal partner.

We work all day for the boss, for our children, for our partner, never being able to satisfy any of them entirely, even forgetting to dedicate some time to ourselves, how is it possible?

You don't have to stay forever in this situation. You need action; you need change.

In Rewire Your Brain, you can truly understand, with the tangible evidence provided by science in recent years, how to boost all aspects of your life, knowing your thoughts, the signs your body sends, doing the right thing to achieve our more ambitious goals, all of this while freeing yourself from all those self-destructive and negative thoughts that have prevented your life so far.

When you find yourself identifying more with a fixed mind than a growth mind, don't worry, the human brain can continually reshape itself throughout its lifespan, which means that it's never too late to turn into a growth mind, no matter how deeply rooted the fixed mind concepts may be. New neural pathways in the brain can be created as new ideas are replicated time and time again, and as soon as they become well-worn pathways, new patterns are formed.

Here is a preview of what you will learn:

  • The human brain
  • An in-depth analysis of the human brain and how it functions
  • How complex our brain is and why our ancestors had to be more afraid than us to survive
  • Secrets of the mind you need to know
  • How you can rewire particular parts of your brain to begin welcoming positive thinking
  • How to cool down specific parts of the brain that have been hyper-activated
  • The most common addictions
  • How to improve your memory and boost your mood
  • How to stop overthinking and how to deal with negative thought patterns
  • Main causes of an unhealthy mindset
  • Affirmations you can say each day to change your mind and empower yourself
  • How to change your emotions and develop better habits to improve your wellbeing
  • And much more…

I found this book extremely helpful in understanding and changing how I handle anxiety and panic. While initially I thought it a bit clinical subsequent chapters proved relatable and very helpful to me.

I have a way to cope with anxiety now

Long story short, you can't control all anxiety by changing thoughts. But there's a way to calm down, by slow breathing, for example. But this book also prepares your mind, so that slow breathing is more effective.

A must have for anxiety sufferers and their famili

I have had anxiety in the past and got this book from the library in order to help my teenage daughter. It is so good that I am ordering my own copy. The workings of the brain while anxious are explained clearly. Understanding what's going on is half the battle! Excellent explanations of how different strategies can rewire your brain follow. If you have any experience with anxiety and want to understand it better or help some one else, this book is a MUST HAVE!

Amazing! If you are looking at it, then get it.

I recommend this book to anyone struggling with anxiety. Especially if it is a new experience and you don't know much about it. I found that knowledge about anxiety and what your brain is doing is at least 85% of the battle.

Helpful

They book is easy to understand for the lay person, but also explains the current brain science well. Both educational and practical. Well talking, lots of exercises, examples and good explanations. Recommended to me by a psychologist friend when I had a series of panic attacks. Definitely trying some of the things from the book.

It's science

Anxiety seems to be on the rise. This book will give you an insight into why, and explain how to tackle it, often with professional help. It's not woo-woo; it's science.

This was recommended to me by my primary doctor

This was recommended to me by my primary doctor on dealing with anxiety. I am about 1/4 of the way through the book and I have found it to be very informative.
