About this listen

From the bestselling author of The Ravenhood Trilogy comes an angsty, steamy journey filled with love, loss, and self discovery.

Thirty years ago, my father became the other half of a broken love story.

A relationship he’s kept hidden for decades.

Upon unearthing his secret through a series of emails in our paper’s archives, I began my search for the truth. Haunted by my father’s love story, and in my quest for answers, I never imagined I would discover a love of my own. Or that my love for Easton Crowne would be key in discovering the reason behind what split our parents up.

Doomed from the start and knowing the havoc our relationship would inevitably wreak on our families, I could never have prepared for the toll it would take or the cost of the truth.

But in order to find our ending, we had to go back to their beginning.

My name is Natalie Butler, and this is my star-crossed love story.

This is one of my absolute favourite books, you feel all the emotions and the way he fights for her and the love you feel coming from him is unreal. 🥰

perfection

I’ve never cried so much or spent so many hours listening with tear-filled eyes as with this book. Awesome writing but also an incredible performance by both the voice actors. Top 5 of the year for me.

100 % Emotionally wrecked

I honestly felt every single emotion in this book. It was beautiful, swoon worthy, infuriating, heart warming, heart breaking etc but I’m used to that now with kate’s books! She is the master of making you feel all the emotion of the characters. The narrators are fantastic their emotion was just incredible! Easton oh my god he is perfection & although Natalie was infuriating she did redeem herself towards the end. I wanted to scream for them to just sort through their issues but trust the process as the ending is worthwhile!!

I could not stop listening! What a book!

A complete emotional rollercoaster, but I LOVED every page of the book and minute of the audio. Narration is outstanding - you can FEEL everything Easton and Natalie are going through. So many tears shed - couldnt put it down and finished in just over a day.

This was…. WOW
