Cold-blooded kidnappers. Long-lost magic. When things get serious, she goes full Sherlock. Ashira Cohen takes pride in being the only female private investigator in Vancouver. With her skills, her missing persons case should be a piece of cake. She wasn't counting on getting bashed in the skull, revealing a hidden tattoo and supernatural powers she shouldn't possess. Or the bitter icing on top: a spree of abductions and terrifying ghostly creatures on a deadly bender. And don't even get her started on the golems.

Stuck with Alan's ghost following her around, Bree is in hot water now with no easy way out as she's been framed for his murder and plunked in the local pokey. Story
"Happily Ever After" wasn't supposed to come with a do-over option. But when my husband of 20 years packs up and heads for greener pastures, and my son heads away to college, that's exactly what my midlife becomes. A do-over. This time, though, I plan to do things differently. Age is just a number, after all, and at 40 I'm ready to carve my own path. Eager for a fresh start, I make a somewhat unorthodox decision and move to a tiny town in the Sierra foothills.

Story
When I arrived at my uncle's house, I expected my relatives to be like me - outcast sorcerers who don't practice magic. I was right about the sorcery, but wrong about everything else. Rule two: Don't listen to the demon. My uncle chose a far deadlier power. He calls creatures of darkness into our world, binds them into service contracts, and sells them to the highest bidder. And I'm supposed to act like I don't know how illegal and dangerous it is. Rule three: Don't talk to the demon. All I had to do was keep my nose out of it.

I’m one placement away from becoming a fully fledged London detective. It’s bad enough that my last assignment before I qualify is with Supernatural Squad. But that’s nothing compared to what happens next. Brutally murdered by an unknown assailant, I wake up 12 hours later in the morgue - and I’m very much alive. I don’t know how or why it happened. It was an ordinary job. Another night, another asshole collector of the supernatural. I free some poor little beasties from their cages, pocket a few trinkets to pay my bills, and burn the place down on my way out. Just call me the Robin Hood of monster emancipation. Summary
Ash is tightening the noose on her enemies...
...and losing her grip on reality.
Ash’s revenge plans for Chariot and Isaac Montefiore take a surreal turn when Isaac’s wife hires Ash to retrieve an item that Isaac is obsessed with finding. Ash takes the job, but this quest throws her back into Levi’s path and puts Rafael in grave danger.
Meanwhile, Ash runs across a crime victim who possesses mysterious magic. Ash’s search for the attacker once again pits her against the Queen of Hearts and sends Ash down the rabbit hole of what’s real. Sanity is highly overrated, anyway, right?
To top it all off, Ash’s mother is being blackmailed by someone threatening to expose Ash as a rogue unless Talia resigns from her political career for good. Talk about putting the “fun” in family dysfunction.
Secrets, vengeance, and magic collide in the final chapter of The Jezebel Files. With love, family, and her enemy’s immortality on the line, a con set in motion 15 years ago comes to an explosive conclusion, and Ash only has one chance to come out alive.
Get it now.

Perfect ending
The final installment of The Jezebel Files did the series justice! I don't know how to gush about this book properly without giving anything away, but it was brilliant enough to sooth the pain of having to let go of a series I loved so much. As always, Deborah Wilde took us on an emotional, action packed ride that left me breathless more than a couple times, and Hollie Jackson's performance brought it all to life beautifully!

Brilliant Finish!!
What can I say? This was an absolutely brilliant book and ending to this series!! I’m quite bereft it’s over as Deborah’s character building and story arc really drew me in and made me feel immersed in all of it.
I’m really hoping a spin off might happen as I would love to revisit these characters again and see what they could get up to, but maybe that’s me missing them so much!!
Hollie Jackson’s narration was as always spot on and so sarky, her tone fit the storyline perfectly!
Can’t wait for the next book from Deborah, in the meantime I think I’ll read them all again!!

Best for last
Revenge and Rapture, the final instalment of the Jezebel files doesn’t disappoint. The treasure of going back into the world of Ash and her team, and seeing the growth and evolution of the characters and their relationships is one I’ve anticipated!
Deborah Wilde builds worlds fantastically well, and I’ve gotten into the habit of re-listening to previous books in the series before diving into the new one. Much like binging on a TV series the world building and threading of clues becomes more cohesive when consumed back to back.
I was listening out for the accents that Deborah Wilde would ask Hollie Jackson to narrate and was tickled with the very brief mangling of an Aussie accent. I’m looking forward to hearing what Deborah does within the PWF genre, and it would be great if Audible could be released at the same time as kindle (hey, if you don’t ask, you don’t get, right?)

A brilliant final chapter
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. It is so well written and a great final installment to The Jezebel Files. I especially appreciated the way it cleverly linked back to the beginning and its one of the best final chapters to a series I’ve had the pleasure of. I devoured this over a day as I just couldn’t stop listening. Hollie Jackson is a very talented narrator who has the ability to draw you into the story so that you forget its being narrated. As with all Deborah Wilde books, the characters are believable, and well balanced. I urge you to buy this book and if you haven’t yet, give the first three a listen, you won’t regret it!

What a beautiful finish......
..... to an amazing series.
My love for Ash has grown exponentially with each instalment of Deborah’s Jezebel files. I went on a journey with Ash and boy did this book hit me in the feels.
Her relationship with Levi, her acceptance of things she couldn’t change and just her overall badassery has cemented Ashira Cohen in my top list of literary heroines. I don’t feel like I can say much about the story without giving anything away but her one liners and funny commentary had me laughing out loud on more than one occasion. The ending of her story was executed beautifully and unlike other series’s that I’ve read, the ending did the story and characters justice. Now I need to wait patiently for Deborah’s next masterpiece. Oh and Hollie Jackson is AMAZING. I wish she narrated all the stories I love.

Excellent Finish
First of all, I love how Ms. Wilde writes characters that are so relatable. The empty, guy wrenching feeling post break up is something most of us have experienced, and so are the questionable choices we make. Honestly I could totally put myself in Ash's shoes. That being said, there was a lot going on. The story was great but I would have loved to have seen more of the queen! I enjoyed Ash's growth as she learned to let people in. The ending wasn't what I expected, but I really enjoyed it and I can't think of a better ending.

Hollie Jackson is the perfect Ash!
Deborah Wilde does NOT disappoint in the conclusion to The Jezebel Files. Her signature smart snark makes this book SO enjoyable! The characters continue to make progress on their journeys from broken individuals to closer-to-whole teammates, friends, or lovers.
Lots of action. Lots of surprises. All mysteries revealed. Risks taken, leading to reward.
I just love all of these characters. They are so unique and I've loved watching all of them grow over the series. Best friends, lovers, parents, colleagues, enemies to friends. This book has it all.
I both read the book AND listened to the audiobook. I will permanently hear Hollie Jackson as Ash's voice. I can't read the books without her in my head. She's SO perfect for the role. She does an amazing job voicing all the characters. I knew when she was Pria vs. Ash's mom; when she was Levi vs. Miles or Arkady. Really excellent work.
If you like smart, snarky heroines who are a little broken and trying to work on it, you will LOVE Ash. There's magic, worlds within worlds, an awesome amount of history and mythology (I love what I learn from Deborah's books!), and just a whole mess of AWESOME.

Amazing Finish to this series
I have enjoyed this series since the beginning and the ending was awesome. The this book moved along at a fast pace and really wrapped up all the unanswered questions from start to finish. At the beginning I was really annoyed with Levi for breaking things off with Ash, but he did redeem himself in the end. Ash is a strong, smart, and wildly fun character. She along with her friends really drew me into the story and made me feel a part of. Hollie Jackson is one of my favorite narrators and brought the characters to life. You will not be disappointed with this series. I would suggest reading them all in order. I actually went back and listened to all the books in order before starting this one. Deborah Wilde is genius!

Wow
So like always Hollie Jackson brought this amazing book to life. Can I just say that for the first half of the book I just wanted to give Levi a good smack. How was it that after breaking up with Ash he managed to make it seem like it was her fault?? It almost made me wish a new man would show up and sweep her away, but I guess he did redeem himself.
The Queen of hearts though? I absolutely loved! This final book brought so many answers, and ones I completely didn't see coming or know I needed. It kind of made you see the Queen and Moran in a whole new light. It made me wish they had a book of their own!
Over all this was the perfect conclusion to Ash's story. Jump in and be ready for an action packed adventure.

I loved this whole series! there is strong character development that continues on right through until the end.

Best book in the series
This is not a standalone work, and it’s worth reading the other three in the series first. I love the way Wilde threads Jewish mysticism into her world building- it makes it both interesting and grounds the story at the same time. Highly enjoyable!
