Summary

Can a reformed player ever truly play by someone else's rules?

Sam Walsh has finally put an end to decades of self-destruction and turned over a healthy new leaf, and now he's ready to call himself a married man. But love and marriage are only the beginning, and life is about to get much more complicated.

Will tying the knot tie down a free spirit?

Tiel Desai never imagined herself getting married again, and before she can blink, she's swept up into the Walsh wedding whirlwind. If that chaos isn't enough, she's also busy winning over her future in-laws, grappling with a bumpy adjustment to her new job, and staying afloat when a string of disappointments hit.

They're building a future, but can they ever fully demolish the past?

Sam and Tiel beat back their demons and learned to love each other, but love might not be enough to solve every problem that crawls their way.

Fantastic

I love the Walsh series by Kate Canterbary but honestly this book is my absolute favourite.
It is full of emotion as Sam and Tiel navigate their reunion.
As always the narrators are superb
Simply the best type of romance novel, clever, emotional with a ring of truth

My Heart is Restored

Kate Canterbary did Sam and Tiel justice. They are my favorite Walsh couple and I love their relationship. In this story we see them grow in their independence as well as a couple and it was beautiful.

Lucy Rivers and Christian Fox are a great team and I enjoyed their interpretation of these beloved characters. Perfect pacing and emotion had me both laughing and crying from beginning to end!

The Walsh sibs come together

This book in the Walsh series, combines events that took place in previous books but the scenes are told from Sam and Tiel’s point of view. While there were serious moments in this book - pregnancies, health issues, in-law family drama (can we say Tiel’s mother is a “mouth never closing, spewing caustic verbal vomit, head in her a**” nightmare), the listener gets to appreciate a maturing Riley. He is becoming more than what the older brothers thought he was capable. Sam had a lot to do with that realization, making Patrick and Matt look at their youngest sibling in a new light.
Sam and Tiel continue to work thru their issues since both don’t come from families with loving parents.
You will laugh to tears when Riley enlists the aid of SEAL Will to take back his friends dog that an ex- boyfriend stole. The hunky brothers and Will, the “don’t mess with me SEAL brother-in-law SEAL” come together to save the 15 pound pooch.
As with the past books in this series, there are parts of chapters that set up the premise for the next book.
And as always, Christian Fox was awesome and Lucy Rivers was spot on.

All the feels!

First, let me preface that I'm a HUGE fan of the entire Walsh series, and most especially of this couple. This is the continuation of Sam and Tiel from Necessary Restorations. While you could probably listen to this one as a standalone, I don't advise it. You will get so much MORE from this book if you read Necessary Restorations first. Saying all that....this book has ALL THE FEELS!!! You will laugh, cry and even ugly cry (for both good and sad reasons) and fall even more in love with this family. Kate Canterbary has such an enormous talent for real storytelling, real people, real scenarios, real feelings! She creates characters that have flaws and struggles in such a believable way that you can truly relate to them. I read A LOT and I read A LOT of this genre....this family is far and away my favorite of any book/series that I've ever read. I want to become part of this family. I could gush profusely of my love and obsession with this book and this series. But in simple terms...GET THIS BOOK NOW!!! GET THIS SERIES NOW!!! You will not regret it.

Liked it!

4/5 rating. As with other books in this series, the author creates characters that are fascinating. The story has more satisfying sub-plots in comparison to the rest of the series. There were scenes to make you cry and scenes to make you laugh out loud.

Steamy erotica.

Great narration.

Well now this one is my new fav

Each book gets better. I like how the story continues with all characters still in play and the overlap of events from a different POV.

Back to My Favorite Couple

Back to my favorite couple, which was cool except... I thought we'd be moving to the next couple. It made me think that this series could've easily been written in chronological order, mixing all couples throughout (kind of like the BDB series) and each ending with one sibling's HEA.

Anyway, I'm a Walsh family fan, and I'd enjoy any chance to spend more time with them. And focusing on my favorite couple was nice. Thier story wasn't finished after thier first book so here we get more closure.

I review for the Guilty Indulgence Review Site.

Wow

I'm never disappointed with Kate canterbarys stories. Having read this before the audio came out I knew the story, but the audio adds so much more to the feelings. Listening to Christian Fox in certain scenes had me laughing like a fool, and Lucy Rivers had me tearing up!!
