When a budding romance with a murder suspect begins to blossom, Piper finds herself in a dangerous situation.

Book 3: Dancing with a Ghost
Some secrets won't stay buried....

Shy and sensitive art student Katie Mills is trying to escape the ghost who haunts her after dark. She travels to New Mexico to study with a master painter and rejuvenate under the big, blue southwestern sky.

But the ghost who followed Katie to the desert isn't content with sampling the spicy cuisine and painting the local landscape. This restless spirit is interested only in justice.

Katie is finally breaking out of her quiet shell and learning how to paint with abandon when one of the other guests turns up dead. In the wake of the tragedy, Katie surprises herself by finding comfort in a fellow artist's arms. But as new evidence surfaces and suspicion broadens, Katie doesn't know whom to trust. And now the vengeful ghost she brought with her is demanding to be heard.

Time is running out. Katie must find the courage to speak up and solve the ranch's deadly mystery before a killer takes another life.

Great paranormal mystery collection

Restless Spirits Cozy Ghost Mystery Trilogy
By: Angela Pepper
Narrated by: Marie Hoffman
This is an audible book collection I requested and the review is voluntary.
This collection of paranormal mystery novels are all wonderfully written and exciting. There are three of them.
1. Interview with a Ghost
Restless Spirits Cozy Ghost Mysteries, Book 1
By: Angela Pepper
Narrated by: Marie Hoffman
This is a great ghost haunting book. A writer is murdered and hangs around our gals house, she is the only one that sees her. She is the one that found him also. She had an appt. to interview him when she found him. There are all kinds of crazy things happen in the book. Crazy as in funny as long as I didn't have to go through them, lol. It is a good clean and fun book and I enjoyed it. I like ghost stories and this one was not scary and it would be just right for those that want to read a mystery with a ghost! Good ending. Very touching story. I had never read this author's books before but I am hooked now. She has a way of making the characters seem real and have a lot of heart. Even those that alive anymore!
The narrator was just great! Smooth, good voices, kept emotions up or down as needed. Great job!
2. . Date with a Ghost
Restless Spirits Cozy Ghost Mysteries, Book 2
By: Angela Pepper
Narrated by: Marie Hoffman
This book has lots of twists and turns and had me in suspense! This is certainly one of the most suspenseful story so far! Things aren't what you think they are! The narrator was great in keeping the suspension tight!
3. Dancing with a Ghost
Restless Spirits Cozy Ghost Mysteries, Book 3
By: Angela Pepper
Narrated by: Marie Hoffman
This has our gal up and away from the crowds with an artist and a hand full of people when someone is found murdered. So, who among the group is the murderer? Is it the same one that murdered her friend? Wonderful stories and each also adds a bit of paranormal activity in it. Narrator was great!

Great Stories, Great Narration!

I was intrigued to listen and review this 3 book set by Angela Pepper and performed by Marie Hoffman. I so enjoy a good ghost story and this book has 3 excellent stories. I loved the suspense, the unexpected twists and the characters. Each story is its own book, has endearing characters, is clean, and has a restless ghost. The narrator has a smooth voice which is articulate and adds the right emotions. Marie Hoffman was a pleasure to listen to. Each story in this audiobook is a standalone listen and an original story. Angela Pepper definitely kept me interested in each book, and I loved how different they were, and that the ghosts were put to rest. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I would definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.

Wouldn't read this again

This is a grouping of 3 books with different characters from book to book, but they're all pretty similar to each other. The first one was ok, the second one was a bit odd and the third one was so bizarre that I honestly wondered what the heck I was listening to. I often re-read (listen to) books I enjoy, and I wouldn't listen to this set of books again.

Ehhh

I kept wandering off and not minding when I couldn’t remember what they had said. Didn’t hold my attention at all. Disappointing compared to her other stories.

2 out of 3

Finally abandoned. The first two entertained. The 3rd had characters that bored me to tears.

Spirits

Love these books. It is fantastic having them in one read. Each book is a standalone but they are all fantastic. Keeps me on my toes waiting to see what happens next. I would recommend these books. They are a great, entertaining read. I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review. The narrator did a fantastic job.

I can’t decide which is more boring: the character or the narrator.

After reading the Wisteria Witches series, I was expecting this to be equally charming and a good cozy mystery series. Unfortunately I couldn’t even force my way through the first book. As I said in the headline, I’m not sure which is worse, the narrator or the main character. There’s little or nothing cozy about at least this first book. The narrator is monotone with no differentiation among characters. The main character doesn’t seem too bright, clever, or worth worrying whether she gets hurt or not. I rarely return books, but this is one I will.
