About this listen

Thirty floors of nightmare fueled action. An ex-cop with nothing left to lose.

After losing his job and family, Flint Reed finds himself in the middle of a terrorist attack. With nothing but his wits and experience as a former Union police officer, he must do everything he can to stay alive.

As he soon discovers, however, there are also hostages, and no one is coming to save them.

All hope falls to Flint.

But as he fights to navigate the building, the real answers begin to unravel. What are the terrorists really after, and why are they so intent on getting into the vault?

Experience the beginning of the Resonant Son series. If you're a fan of Die Hard, Renegade Star, or the Last Reaper, you'll love this epic sci-fi thrill ride.

This was better than I expected.
There is humor, it keeps you interested until the end and i liked the personal aspects and how the story included them.
I am interested in the next one.
Still like Ruins of the Earth more.

Its way better. The story is well constructed and put together.

Yep it's light esp considering other books that the author has written but still punchy.

Ironically the only bit that slightly grates on me is the struggle he has at the beginning with small buttons. Once im past that im away and loving the book.

Mark Boyett also does an excellent narration.

In short - The book is very entertaining and worth it.

This book ain't fluffy or die hard in space....

Not my usual cup of tea however I was pleasantly impressed with the story brought to life by the excellent narration. Well done to everyone involved.

Phenomenal
