Summary

From the best-selling author of Villa of Sun and Secrets.

A sweeping, bittersweet love story amidst the glitz and the glamour of the French Riviera.

Two very different women are starring in their own real-life dramas behind the scenes of the Cannes Film Festival.

Newly in love, Anna Carson returns to the festival for the first time in nearly 40 years hoping to reconcile her past with her present-day happiness.

Journalist Daisy Harris is looking for a big scoop at her first festival and is determined to embrace her new single status amongst all the glitz and glamour.

Behind the champagne and parties, secrets from the past are bubbling to the surface, and difficult decisions need to be taken.

One thing's for certain - by the end of the film festival their lives will have changed forever....

Loved it as always

Absolutely love Jennifer Bohnet books, this one especially. Love the narration too. I feel as though I know this part of France really well now !

Another good listen

I’m loving these books by Jennifer Bohnet, apart from the fact that everyone gets their happy ending!
Every book follows the same formula, which I do like, but it’s not like real life - sometimes bad things happen to nice people. Won’t stop me listening though!

Enjoyable escapism

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this story by Jennifer Bohnet. She draws the listener / reader in to the sun-filled south of France to make this a perfect escape. The production quality and narration were very good.

Narration poor

The story was slow but the narration was awful.
There were moments when the words tailed off so badly you couldn’t hear what was being said.
Narration was high pitched and garbled.

Poor quality recording

Liked the story but the poor quality of the recording spoilt my enjoyment. It’s not the same quality as the other books in the series, such a shame.

Great story

Lovely storey. Shame about the poor quality of sound during narration. Volume kept changing and fading away.

Poor sound quality spoiled my enjoyment

I’m only a few chapters into this book, which I’m sure I would enjoy, but the sound quality is really annoying and I’m considering drawing the narration to a close.
It isn’t my equipment that’s at fault as I’ve checked several other narrations. It’s annoying as I paid for this with one of my credits.

Terrible audio

The audio recording of this book is terrible. It doesn’t matter how loud the volume is, the narrator sounds to be mumbling with some words and even whole sentences not being heard. I’ve tried to listen through different devises and it sounds exactly the same. I wasn’t able to finish the book.
