About this listen

New York Times bestselling author Katy Evans expands upon the intense love story begun in Real and Mine—this time from Remington “Riptide” Tate’s point of view.

Underground fighter Remington Tate is a mystery, even to himself. His mind is dark and light, complex and enlightening. At times his actions and moods are carefully measured, and at others, they spin out of control.

Through it all, there’s been one constant: wanting, needing, loving, and protecting Brooke Dumas. This is his story; from the first moment he laid eyes on her and knew, without a doubt, she would be the realest thing he’s ever had to fight for.

I’m honestly so sad that Remy and Brooke’s story has come to an end. I was completely emotionally invested in Real, Mine and Remy and I lived through every moment with them.

Remy is mostly told through memories and past events, but this time we experience everything through Remy’s eyes - his emotions, his thoughts and the moments that stayed with him the most. It was incredibly moving to finally understand him on a deeper level.

There are also small glimpses of the present and I truly wish there had been more of that. This story is so captivating that I could stay in this forever.

I would love another book showing how their life continues - raising their child together. How Remy’s illness affects fatherhood and how Brooke handles the challenges alongside him. It simply wasn’t enough for me, because this series is just that good.

Wow… truly one of the best romance series I’ve ever read. Highly, highly recommended.

I also really liked the narrative.

I didn’t want their story to end

It is a really nice book that accompanies the rest of the series created by Katy Evans

What other book might you compare Remy to, and why?

It is in the same series as Remy - which I happen to like more

Which scene did you most enjoy?

When they found out about the baby

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me laugh

Any additional comments?

It is a good book but the narrator is not the greatest with female voices especially after listening to Remy the first book that is narrated by a woman

A new point of view from Remy, but so much more!

Put simply this book is Real and mine from Remy's POV. As I Loved Real and Mine this rounded off the story wonderfully. It showed Remy as the broken, human, sensitive, sexy, focused, beautiful man he is and Sebastian York was outstanding in taking us on his journey.
These stories aren't a day at the beach but wouldn't that be just plain boring if they were !!

The perfect narrator for Remy

What other book might you compare Remy to, and why?

REMY is all about his p.o.v how he feels with his emotions and his illness (bipolar disorder).
So there are more books before this but you don't need to listen to them first,it may help but this book covers the main just of it
They are real and mine, both by Katie Evans.

Which character – as performed by Sebastian York – was your favourite?

Got to be Remington Tate

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It can be quite emotional ,as me personally I got well into the story and connected with the characters, especially when she's watching to see if he has changed with his disorder, and how they both cope with it,and the treatment he has can be quite upsetting.there are also funny bit in that make you have a giggle too.

Any additional comments?

A great story of a fighter and how people messed with him because of his disorder, and how he conquers all that, and the way he connects with his woman(as he says) through music.well written story to listen to.

REMY,,REMY!!
