easy listening
This is the 2nd time I've listened through this bible reading, I'm starting again another year. It's not easy to know where in the bible you are, as no mention of books, chapters, or verses. But it is still worth having.

Refreshing alternative
Having read the NIV, it is not only refreshing to hear an alternative translation, but also to approach the text in a chronological manner - as God’s ever desire to reconcile with humanity unfolds

great to learn how things slot into order
it's well narrated, but a bit slow - i had it comfortably at 1.4x and then it was much better. only other downside as mentioned by other reviewers is the lack of book names or chapters so there's no way to know where you are or to return to any particular part...though in fairness i do understand that having those in would spoil the narrative

What a blessing
This is amazing. It brings the word to life, even my kids enjoys it; they said they can easily picture it like a movie. This is a great way to absorb and imbibe the word. Highly recommended to every child of God

A great way of going through the whole bible
Listening to the Word of God helps you remember the contents better especially when you read bible at the dame time of listening to it. Just like when an artist puts a background on the canvas first & then adds the detail, so going through tge bible completely in 1 year gives better understanding of the Word of God and helps give clarity when studying portions of scriptures. The word B.I.B.L.E to me is like an anagram. The B stands for Best. The I stands for Instructions. The B stands for Before. The L stands for Leaving. And the final letter E stands for Earth. ideally paced and engaging
I've wanted to read the Bible chronologically for some time, especially to see how the books of Kings and Chronicles tie in with the books of the prophets. Also the
same with Acts and the Letters. This audibook exceeds expectations. I love the pace the reader gives the narrative with just the right level of dramatisation without going OTT. To answer previous comments about the difficulty of finding particular passages on the audiobook site I would recommend getting a paperback version of this Bible: look up what you want in the hard copy and then search on the audiobook files section to easily get the day's reading that fits your needs.
