Written in a warm, personal style, Weber presents the characteristics of tender warriors - including learning to speak the language of women, watching out for what lies ahead, and keeping commitments - in an upfront, straightforward style that challenges readers to realize God's plan for men.
I was amazed at how this book resonated within my spirit. Especially the chapters having to do with "learning to speak woman." In short this is a must listen, I was a bit confounded by an earlier review ridiculing this book that review could not be more wrong. This is a man revolution book in the spirit of Bly and John Eldredge, 5 stars.

truly an Amazing book that every man should read. this is the first book that made me feel different about my life. well written
As a man that didn't have much of a relationship with my own father I have found myself handicapped in the area of manhood and fatherhood I now have four children, two ladies and two men, as well as a church that Good had called me to Pastor. I need to be all that God had called me to be, for my wife, children and those under my ministry. As a result I have become a student of the Word of God and other men who have more understanding than myself. This book offereds great insight, for men that want to still be men, but with still a tender side. I highly recommend this book.
I am a busy person and have a hard time paying attention. I tend to listen to my books 2 times a week for 30-45mins so it wasn't hard to keep my attention. So many of these books say the same things so I make sure I look for things that make it unique on its own. This book has those things that set it apart. Yes, it has some of the same things as other books but it doesn't have it own material. I plan on listening to this authors other books next.
When I go to reread a good book, this may be one of my favorites. Well done, Stu and reader.
What did you love best about Tender Warrior?
He gives a biblical balance to being a Man, Father, Husband, Friend
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No. Only because it is so much to take in all at once.
Any additional comments?
In our macho/wimpy society, this is a good balance using what God tells us in the Bible what a man needs to be. This book does not tell you how to do it but the direction you need to go in, the Bible.
I was hesitant to listen from some of the earlier reviews but I am glad I took it upon myself to form my own opinion. Well done and a good man read and I would recommend this to ladies as well... good insight. Will listen again.
I have a keen interest in this area so I was eager to listen to the book. However, I found the book to be slow, and too general.
If you are looking for a instruction book with clear exercises and important topics for men, broken down into logical chapters, this book will not server you.
If you just want a listen to a friend tell you a story of his life and how much he learned as a man, this would be a good book.
