Summary

For years Stormie Omartian prayed the prayer, "Change my husband, Lord." Then she realized that she had to pray for herself - and examine her own heart - before she could pray effectively for him.

Her prayer become, "Change me, Lord." Here, she presents that process for all wives who want the power to pray for themselves and their husbands.

Just what I needed

I enjoyed the book. Not too long and to the point. I will listen to it over and over.

Not what I was looking for but God still spoke !

I was not expecting, this as a book for beginners. I have been an active Christian for a long time. I was really wanting something that was much more in-depth. Something that was for long-time Christians if that makes sense. I found that this was for beginners and for me it's very difficult to get into. As I continue to listen God still spoke to me I still learned. My view did change some the book went from a 2 star to a 4 star. It ended up being a good book. I have a hard time listening to Stormie talk however I understand why she was the one telling the stories.

When you are in need!

I loved it, but it was over to soon.
The performance was great, and what help with all of the verses.
