I listened to book 1 while it was included in the plus library and was very happy to see the rest of the series were also included. Unfortunately, wont be able to complete the series before it leaves the plus catalogue. Therein lies my gripe with this book. Its a very good story, but it plods along at times. Its taken me a while to get through it because of this and its not really a standalone.

Worth it as part of plus, or maybe if the three books were included in one or a sale. Probably better to read these, as the pacing does make the audio version a bit of a slog at times. It would make an incredible movie, got Hellboy 2 vibes a lot.
