Summary

A Top 20 Amazon Best Seller

Number one in New Adult Romance

In the world of morally corrupt teenagers, only the strongest survive....

"Trust only those who earn it." A sentiment I follow without direction but holds more consequence than ever before.

One decision, five lives, three futures.
This is what's at stake.

One night, one choice, four broken Brayshaws.
That is where we're headed.

Unless I stop it.
I have to stop it.

I have to remind him of what he's chosen to forget.

My town. My choice. My ending.

Reign of Brayshaw is the highly anticipated conclusion to Maddoc and Raven's story and the third in the Brayshaw series. This book must be listened to after both books one and two.

Reign of Brayshaw

Meagan Brandy, you have delivered yet another masterpiece! Book 3 was delivered and much more with it! All in my feels again and with all the twists and turns! Raven's father is revealed!!
I was hoping for more at the end but the epilogue through me off. I hope there is more to tell in the next book with Raven even though I know this completed her story.
Performance was awesome! There was a nice balance between the two narrators.

Where do I start?

I was so excited for Reign of Brayshaw. I was left on a cliffhanger that left so many things opened and difficult to answer, I even had the books release date marked in my calendar. Given that I don’t have much time anymore to sit and read books anymore, I had to wait for the audiobook, but I soon found out that I would have to wait more than a month to finish Raven and Maddoc’s story, but over a month turned into over two months, not to the fault of the author, but it killed my excitement for the book a little.

Now here I am at the end of December, finishing the story....this is where my rating comes from.

The book left me confused. There was just too much information for me to digest, and I’m sure I’ve missed somethings. What drew me to this author and these characters, were I felt like I could relate to them, especially the heroine, in that we both had experience in neglect and abuse in our childhood and adulthood, and I was drawn to the angst. Which had a nice proportion in the first two book’s because it was equaled out by the romance between Raven and Maddoc, but in this book, there was too much of it and not enough romance to equal it out and I couldn’t relate to the characters, which was odd because I thought I knew them, but here I felt that I didn’t.

Half way through the book I had to speed up the reading because I’d grown a little bored and just wanted to finish the book. I don’t like love triangles and have only liked one in all my years of reading because all three characters got what they wanted in the end, even if it was delayed for one. I didn’t not expect one between Raven and Captain, there wasn’t enough foundation for it not seem and feel awkward. It would have seem more natural for Raven to marry Collins and the plot unfold that way.

I have to admit that I didn’t like Victoria at first, but I was happy that she had a role other than a forced character to match up with Captain, and it’s even better that she’s Raven sister, so I liked that part.

Now, what really confused me was Leo and Vienna were reintroduced. I felt like their roles and parts were over in the second book, Leo got his butt beat by Maddoc and what not and Vienna got hers handed to her by Raven and banished. I was also a bit annoyed how at every turn it was reinforced that Raven was a bad ass, I mean we get it. It was cemented in the first two books.

In short this book was a bit of a mess. I don’t see myself re-reading this third book, but I’m still holding out luck for Captian’s and Royce’s because those boys deserve it, and the third star is for them.

P.S. I’m still not sure how I feel about Raven being pregnant. Maybe a better ending would have been them being able to go off to college or something.

Ridiculous storyline

Out of the 3 books this was the hardest to get through. I know it’s a fictional book but the story was just too hard to believe. Especially not for a bunch of 18 year olds. And the intrigue was just over the top. First book was still my favourite.

Angsty👑Ballsy👑Perfection👑

I have been waiting months for this book to release on audible and it sure did not disappoint! I was a little nervous because there is a new female narrator but as always the narration was great and I really didn’t even notice any difference. This is the conclusion to Raven and Maddox epic love story. We learn all the secrets behind the Brayshaw v Graven feud. I can’t wait for Captain and Royce’s books. Totally in love with these wolves! Keep them coming Meagan Brandy!

LOVE

LOVE this series, with the twists & turns & surprises. I've read the 1st three books twice now and still love them. I like how they all leave you on cliff-hangers so you literally pick off where you pick up in the next book. I like how its like a soap opera all on its own, it would make for a great TV series.

Got a little confusing with so many characters but still a good story.

Great narration. Loved Raven and Maddox, but keeping all the players straight was hard, but well worth a credit.

Fustraiting

This book was so fustraiting to listen. Story stood still / moved so slowly most of the book that it was so fustraiting. Many times I wished I could jump forward where things would evolve. After btilliant first book, I’m sad to say this was not strong ending. I hated many things: how main characters lost teir characters, how Maddoc wasn’t the man I thought he was, how Raven lost her spunk and wit, how whole plot became soap opera that lost the intensity of their love affair. Yes, they got eachother in the end but It was one Big anticlimax.

After reading 2 books It was long way to get disapointed, but I understand that storytelling is hard skill: not every story can be epic. Still, it’s sad to feel like this after great expectations.

Love the Family Connection

Book 3 of the Brayshaw series put me through the wringer and picks up right where book 2 left off. So much is revealed, but it was a fun adventure that kept me guessing. Maddoc, Cap and Royce evolve and rise from men to kings who rule with a queen at their side.
.
Raven climbed to her full reign and became the rightful queen of Brayshaw. Her character has always amazed me because she is so incredibly strong and able to handle herself in any situation, but she also has the biggest heart of gold! She didn't have an example growing up, it's just in her very nature. She definitely ruled this book which was perfect as the conclusion to her finally getting her HEA.
.
Raven, Maddoc, Cap and Royce are fierce apart, but together they are a force to be reckoned with! We get to know more of Captain and his thoughtful tender heart. I can't wait for his book next. Raven and Maddoc have some challenges that end up tearing this close knit family apart. My heart broke for Big Man as he was in so much pain. He didn't just want Raven, he NEEDED her to survive. He couldn't keep going without her and I cried so many times for him. Although they may have gotten lost for a bit, the boys and their queen returned in full glory to reign over Brayshaw and forever own my heart! The bond Raven has with each of the boys will forever be my favorite part of this series. There is an unbreakable bond between them. They hurt when others hurt, bleed when others bleed. They are the type of family that are Fiercely Loyal, Stubbornly Protective and Bonded by choice! So many pieces slid into perfect place. Stephen Dexter was a fantastic Maddoc and Jillian Macie did a good job as Raven.
