Summary

In a town where the corrupt are protected, a bereaved mother seeks retribution for an arsonist’s deadly crimes. Only one man can help ease the burden of her grief - and satisfy her rage.

After a suspicious house fire, Regina Belmont lost her two children, was left disfigured, and was abandoned by her gutless husband. Brokenhearted and bullied into silence by corrupt officials, Regina’s only recourse for truth and justice is Nameless. There’s something about this case that’s breaking Nameless’s heart as well. But can he bear to remember why?

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Dean Koontz comes Red Rain, part of Nameless, a riveting collection of short stories about a vigilante nomad, stripped of his memories and commissioned to kill. Follow him in each story, which can be read or listened to in a single sitting.

Red rain

The narrator did a good job with this series. The characters are getting more and more interesting in each book.

Anticlimactic

I feel like as this series goes on the books are becoming less suspenseful. This one had no tension or anticipation prior to Nameless exacting his justice. The whole thing was pretty anticlimactic. It was kind of just a catalyst to get to the next book. There was no substance. I wasn’t interested in the story at all. I hope things pick up in the next one. These seem to be hit or miss. Hopefully the last two in the series are hits. 2 stars.

Red Rain

A little to fast. Needs more suspense. Went straight for the justice. Ended different than I thought it would.

Can't put these books down!

Koontz is back in book 4, which means Nameless is on the he's of a bad guy. This one... has a thing for fire.

Koontz sets you on another adventure as Nameless finds a way to enter his antagonist life... and ...well... it won't be pretty. with flash fiction... you've got to Pace the book at just the right speed. For the fourth time I'm a row... Koontz hits it outta the park.

Red Rain - Nameless Series #4

I have been enjoying this series very much, up until this one. In my opinion, the story was weak and the narration was somehow ‘off’. A little too overly dramatic in the reading, for my tastes. I will continue with the series, but this one was a ‘miss’ and could be by-passed.

Good short story!

Another good short story.

This one is about a psycho arsonist. Good listen and I totally recommend this Nameless man series.
Very entertaining stories.

The narration is great. I really like Edwardo Ballerini, he does a great job on all the voices.
