The October Revolution happened in November 1917. as the title infers, red October is a relatively dry account of the Russian revolution. despite the subject matter, the narrator does a sterling job of presenting it, with the last four chapters in particular being more fast paced and easier to digest. this book should be mandatory reading alongside a history of Nazi Germany. it is in all ways horrific, informative and interesting. a disturbing look into one of the most destructive regimes in world history.
