I like the ideas in the story, I'm not warming to the FMC, she is so angry and aggressive even when people are being kind or trying to help. I get she had a hard start in life and she's struggling with the discovery of her magic and being put into school, but I'm struggling to like her or root for her. It seems to be overly dramatic to force the enemies to lovers narrative. But the narrators are sooo exhausting, terribly over the top and drawn out I had to speed it to 1.2 just to get through. It's a shame because I'd like to continue with the story.

Too much instant love and it felt like we didn't get much information about the characters. A weaker start to the series than Heir Academy, but I'll give the series another chance with part two.
