Heath and Kara!
On the outside Heath appears to have not a care in the world but inside he worries that his past will affect every relationship he has and everything that he tries to do. Kara has not had an easy childhood but she has now found a place where she belongs, however she always fears that if she is not perfect that it will be gone in the blink of an eye.
What was supposed to be a one night stand has turned into a connection that neither can deny but when they find out she is the TA in one of the classes that he is taking it is an obstacle that neither was prepared for or knew how to deal with.
Full of emotion, twists and red hot chemistry Heath and Kara aren’t a couple you will soon forget. I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook and thought the narrators did a great job of bringing the characters and their story to life.

Another great installment

Heath is celebrating the win by getting together with the rest of his hockey team.
Kara made a decision to go out alone to celebrate when she meets Heath, the chemistry between them is hot!
Unable to resist each other they have a night to remember.
Neither expecting their worlds to collide as it does.
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book, the narrators did an excellent job.

brilliant
an absolutely brilliant story , it's hard to put into words just how much I enjoyed this book , the narrators were brilliant and really brought the characters and the story to life , a must listen!

These narrators brought Heath and Kara to life!
Maya Hughes is quickly becoming a young adult genre queen! I was thrilled for Heath’s story. He always seems so unconcerned and relaxed. I so enjoyed Kara bring him to his knees. What a sweet and charming guy Heath turned into when he’s confronted with a girl unlike any other.
Ms. Hughes gives us a lovely young adult sports romance that dabbles a bit into a forbidden romance as well. It’s always fun to see previous characters from earlier books. The characters are all great. Some of the secondary characters stole the show occasionally. It just happens when you have several really strong characters. I was super happy that this book contains more of the hokey. It seemed almost like an after thought in the first book but definitely not in this book! I really enjoyed how Ms. Hughes created this book and the characters.
Teddy Hamilton and Lucy Rivers brought Heath and Kara to life! Teddy Hamilton is a narrator I've listened to so many times I could probably pick him out in a room. His voice is deep and strong but holds this deep playfulness which was perfect for Heath. I know I've listened to Lucy Rivers several times now. She isn't as easily recognized but her voice was still a pleasure to listen too as Kara. They were a fabulous team bringing life and emotions to some amazing characters!
