Summary

Rebel of the Sands is packed with train robberies, festivals under the stars, powerful djinni magic and an electrifying love story.

Dustwalk is Amani's home. The desert sand is in her bones. But she wants to escape. More than a want. A need.

Then a foreigner with no name turns up to save her life, and with him the chance to run. But to where? The desert plains are full of danger. Sand and blood are swirling, and the sultan's enemies are on the rise.

wonderful

I loved the story, there are countless plot twist and turning pints. the characters are extremely likeable. it was slightly and could have benefited from more character development but I'm definitely going to finish the series.

great story, unsatisfying ending

great characters, would have liked more background on the world mythology. a nice change from my normal listening. not sure if there are more coming, If so, so time in again, if not, then not my favourite ending. too many loose ends.

Love this story

This is a reread for me, but my first listen. I find this an incredibly engaging read, with fantastic characters and plenty of exciting twists. I’m not a massive fan of the narrator, I found it difficult to notice the difference between the characters and weather it was thoughts or spoken dialogue I was listening to as there was little to no voice change.

Will continue the reread with the physical books me thinks.
