Yet again another wonderful Spruce love story!!
Loveable Toby meeting perceived hard boy Vann and their getting together. Fantastic narration as ever by Chris Chambers and a new narrator to me, Cooper North

This was a beautiful story with adorable characters that had me on a journey through many emotions. I loved hearing snippets from the lives of previous lead characters in this series and hope future books give insight to Van and Toby living by the beach in happiness

It was a sweet story, at least the first half of it.
Toby’s narrator was good, the other guy not so much.

*Spoiler* I feel like the third act breakup was made up, I didn’t understand why Toby turns so mean to Van and shakes him off and breaks up with him for barely any reason instead of talking to him when he supposedly loves him, meanwhile he forgives his bully of 6 years in no time. Like he literally completely cut him off for standing up for him… just doesn’t make sense

It was an easy listen but the third act breakup isn’t great (Spoiler)
