Finding your happiness
Rebecca Steele Chasing a Dream is exactly as the title states. Joanne Patterson has written a poignant journey of a woman finding her happiness. Becky was married only to have her husband take off with another woman. Now at a new point in her life, she meets mechanic of the Silver Eagles, Johnny. With high emotions and sexual tension, these two find themselves highly compatible. But is their view on their relationship the same? When Becky finds herself alone again, she realizes that it's her time to find her own happiness. Twenty years go by, and Becky finds herself as an up and coming Country singing star. When she runs into her old flame Johnny, does she feel that spark? I enjoyed this journey of love, infatuation, and self realization. While at times I found Becky a little on the naive side at times, but I could easily relate to her wanting to find love and acceptance with Johnny. Johnny is the character I really disliked, he was warm and loving one minute and with no explanation left Becky hanging. I was really pleased she picked herself up and carried on. And the twist at the end, was the best of all! A real spin on her life for the better. I enjoyed her journey and found it satisfying.
Jessie B is the narrator for this story and while she has a great pace and voice, I found at times that her inflection was over exaggerated and too bubbly for parts of the story. For the most part though, she did a good job and her voices are easily distinguishable between characters.

True Love
This is a good story and it is similar to a second chance romance. Since this is based on a true story it add to the intrigue. The narrator has a great voice however it just didn’t work for me here. I would recommend this book.

Romance with the Silver Eagles
With a twist at the end, this is a love story that is creative and the characters are captivating. The story has the most authentic and relatable characters, I only wish I could get past the person that was telling the story in the Audible version. I understand that this is Jessie B first narration, it just bother me with the pauses in telling the story. Maybe it was the company putting the story together or Jessie B reading it, either way it took away from this heartfelt, emotional love story that is influenced by the traditions and customs of military life that I myself, so love. I hope that Joanne Paterson writes more in the future! -J

An Entertaining Romantic Love Story
I read this book awhile ago and enjoyed it very much but the audio version is so engaging and entertaining! The narrator is an excellent choice, an excellent voice, and the book kept my attention with the crisp enthusiasm of the narration and the plot which is full of good clean romance and plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader (much like Becky) wanting more and more. And more!
