About this listen

An alien signal.

Of all the things I expected to uncover while trying to make sense of the Anomaly, this didn't even enter my mind. But now, the signal has changed my understanding of everything.

The Anomaly that's suffocating Earth isn't natural, and decoding this message could be our one shot at saving the planet. The trouble is, we don't even know where to start.

What will it take to decipher the alien signal and unlock the secrets of the Anomaly? And how should we reply when we decode their message?

A lot of people don't think we should trust the aliens who are reaching out to us. I can't pretend I don't understand why.

But with no other way of putting things right, we have to at least figure out what they're saying.

The clock is ticking until the Anomaly consumes us. The fate of humanity lies in my hands all over again.

And this time, the choices I make will echo through the cosmos...

It was going so well, now it's turned into another "Dan and Emma" show but with the age differences reversed and other dynamics. Oh well...

Adding the reviews of my thoughts of the stories I had at the time when I finished them.

It was all going so well.

I enjoyed the book immensely, but it was almost ruined by the quality of the recording. The sound is almost shrill and makes for uncomfortable listening.

I listen to a lot of audio books, and this has the worst sound quality of any others (alongside the previous book in this series!) . I just don't have this problem with any other books - and it's a problem that's evident whether I listen with earbuds, headphones, or in my car. And incidentally, the revisions or edits sound like they've been phoned in.

it's such a pity when a good book and superb narration are ruined by poor technical aspects.

I very much look forward to the next book in the Earthburst series, I just keep my fingers crossed that the sound quality will be better

Please Scott, get a better microphone

I've just finished book 5 and out of all so far, this is my least favourite.
Couple of poor errors in recording and some really sharp moments.
I do enjoy the narrator but this book wasn't as good as the others.
Have just purchased book 6 as I want to hear the conclusion but this all sounds a bit drawn out now and not a lot of action in book5.

Not as good as the others but worth a listen
