Summary

Beth Cornett is the town good girl, so staying out of the way of the motorcycle club's dangerous members is a no-brainer. Unfortunately, Beth manages to catch the eye of Razer, who has every intention of tempting her despite her misgivings. When her worst fears are realized, Beth is left heartbroken and determined to forget her walk on the wild side. Razer will not change for any woman, not even Beth.

He realizes his mistake too late, however, and she is not about to forgive and forget. It takes a killer intent on targeting Beth to bring her back to him and the Last Riders for protection. Razer may have learned his lesson, but as long as she is at the club, Beth has to play by their rules.

Loved it!!!!

My first Jamie Begley book and I loved it. Can't wait to read the rest of the series or any Jamie Begley books. I love MC books and this one is up there with the best ones.

Razer is a MC man and it is his life, it always has been and always will be.

Beth is a preachers daughter and had a hard up bringing. She trusts everybody until they treat her wrong. Beth's life is her customers and her sister lily.

This couple should work but just do!!!
I would recommend this book. Bring on the rest of the series.

Good book, however...

The book is good. However, the narrator speaks sooooo slow. I had to speed it up. she's so slow and droll. Does an okay male male voice, though.

great listening

I love the last riders, and have the whole series on eBook, this is my first time listening to to an audiobook of a book I love, and it didn't disappoint, the narrative was good, the speaker was clear, and I got thoroughly engrossed in her telling of the story, and I'll certainly try it again

Brilliant new series

Now I know why this series and author had so many great reviews.. A gritty, sexy, heartbreaking and fast passed first instalment, Razer and Beth's story has got me hooked off to download the next book. 😎😀

Disappointing

I downloaded this story after seeing the author recommend.... ???but it's not for me I love mc alpha men don't have any triggers but omg the women are so weak they are an embarrassment the men treat them like ### maybe the author should write historical fiction where women swooned .
I want to read about strong fiesty take no ### that don't put up with their men openly cheating not doormats with no backbone
The narrator's voice was annoying as well almost robotics at times don't waste your credit or money

THE CHARACTER WON ME OVER IN THE END

I was won over at the end.

A preachers daughter and a member of an MC.

A strange combination but it happened. I did struggle with the story many times and I've read a lot of MC romance.

I have read books were the MC have the club whores, each club gives them different names but in Razors club they have to earn 6 votes then they become a member who then basically serve the members with sex. There are no Old ladies in this club.

To become a member they have to bed any 6 of the original members of which there are 8, Razor included so Razor will always, in theory, be a cheat and Beth had to accept the way of the club.

I struggled with the above and Beth forgiving so easily too without a fight or using backbone and Razors uncaring and whoring ways also grated on me.

I liked it, cringed a lot, but it was ok.

I listened on audio and narration was good for a female narrator doing many characters voices due to this being third person.

I think if this book was first person and Razor had a voice and his own thoughts it would of been different, maybe I would of understood his ways better but alas ....

Contains lots of graphic sex, contains cheating and leads to a hea.

Couldn't finish

This book might be ok for anyone who hasn't listened to better, so you don't know what your missing. Unfortunately I have listened to better so this was just disappointing and I turned it off half way through. Weak story, weak characters and the narration was mediocre.
