Another fantastic listen!

Dan Abnett never fails to write a thrilling story, painting a vivid picture and really making you feel part of their world. Combined with the superb reading from Toby Longworth, they pair to bring you a stupendous listen, making the miles on long commutes fly by. Great closure to the Ravenor series. Thoroughly reccommend!

Good story, but kinda a weird ending.

The ending felt kinda rushed, like he suddenly remembered that he had a Deadline. But overall a really good book.

Great book, ending a bit meh

Ending happens so abruptly but the book is great none the less. The later half of the book isn’t that great

Fantastic ending

Sad, epic and fulfilling. Toby Longworth's female voices all sound like upper class goblins though

A well put together sci-fi story

Abnett does a great job finishing off the series with this book. It is well written, well thought out and really well executed. Probably the best in the series if I am being honest. Nothing too fancy but it just all comes together nicely.

Although there are no major twists, the story does wind along in unexpected ways and keeps you engaged with plenty of well thought out plot devices. Plenty of action and and good dialogue, along with further fleshing out all the main characters. It is the first of the series to really delve into the inner thinking of the antagonist, Zygmund Molotch.

Needless to say, Longworth does a stellar job narrating.

If you enjoyed the 1st two books the you will no doubt love this instalment.

Rogue's Last Gambit

Ravenor: Rogue is the final installment in the Ravenor Trilogy and ties up all the loose ends which have been set up since the first installment, and in the previous Eisenhorn Trilogy to boot. Being the final novel in this trilogy, it sent off a variety of characters in emotional fashion (the final few chapters being a true heart wrench for a fan favourite) and conclusively closes the curtain on the main plot we have been following all along. Toby Longworth performed this novel perfectly, as is expected of a Voice Actor of his high caliber, and I cannot wait to continue the Trilogy of Trilogies as I move onto the Bequin books. Heres to more Inquisition!
