Summary
Now that's a piece of news a guy doesn't deal with every day! Billy feels betrayed, alien, lost. When his father reverts to his dragon form, and they're both chased by dragon slayers, he learns to trust his father again, battling the slayers with weapons of steel and spirit. Bonnie, an orphan, tries to find a home, someone to love her, even though she feels like a freak because of a body feature that she calls a deformity, her dragon wings, inherited from her now dead dragon mother. She discovers that her love for others and her faith in a Creator hold the answers she is looking for.

Not great, but not bad
Plot works pretty well, though the ending suffers from "sequelitis." Lots of Christian allusions/symbolism, not very well-elucidated but not obnoxious. We listened during a family driving trip; my eight-year-old was enthralled and the adults reasonably entertained.

Revisiting one of my favorite books
A few bugs in the audiobook, but overall still a great story. Wish Davis stuck with multicast, though.

Wonderul
I love this series of books. I read this and the "Oracle's of Fire" series several years ago, but am enjoying the audio versions now.

Fun story, terrible voice acting
Title says it all. Voice actora sound seem to have a hard time matching tone of voice with the situation their characters are in. It's like listening to an elementary school play. Fun story though, i remember reading the series as a child.

Better to read yourself
I loved reading these books but the narrative doesn't do them justice on here. Very sad.

An awesome story, with plenty of comedy
For anyone who loves a good story, or dragons, or even legends of King Arthur ,and love to ask what it might be like if dragons DID exist, and how they may have survived. Then this is the book for you. This book quickly became a favorite of mine, and it is a very high recommendation to anyone who loves stories like this.
