I live on 6.5 acres, and we have several varieties of animals, but it's always good to listen to a book to see what information is being shared that we have not thought of or problems we have not encountered that we could prepared for. We used to live in the city so when we moved, it was a huge adjustment to be out in the open. We made the mistake of getting some chickens, and we thought they would be secure, but they were not, and a raccoon got to them. Listening to how to keep your animals safe solidified what we knew, but it's also a continual process to check to make sure your fencing is good, if you see any predators, etc. Great information to help you ensure your farm animals are safe, healthy, and happy.
