Rainey Days is a portrait of a woman reaching deep within herself to find the strength to build a family. Lorraine Mancini has weathered the storm of her mother’s terminal illness and has begun to build a life of her own.
Her perfect career and her new home are threatened when her troubled half-brother is released from prison and arrives on the scene to turn her whole world upside down.
She becomes an unwilling accomplice to his renewed criminal activity and, in the process, forges a touching bond with his victim.
The need to protect an innocent child inspires her to find the strength to leave the restrictions of her old life behind and build new relationships that carry her story forward and lead her full-circle back to recover all she had lost.
