Summary
Rainer Maria Rilke (1875 - 1926) war nicht nur Lyriker, wenngleich seine Gedichte heute einen Großteil seines Ruhmes ausmachen. Er schrieb auch Dramen und einen Roman: Die Aufzeichnungen des Malte Laurids Brigge. Seine frühe Lyrik, seine kleinen Dramen und seine Jugend-Prosaskizzen dokumentieren noch des Dichters Unentschiedenheit zwischen Naturalismus, Jugendstil und Neuromantik. Erst allmählich wurde sein Stil eigenständiger, nuancierter, malerisch-intensiver. Es gelingt ihm, was ihm vorschwebte: Außen- und Innenwelten zu verbinden.
Engagiert, originell und höchst persönlich führt C. Bernd Sucher zusammen mit dem Schauspieler Marek Harloff den Hörer durch Leben und Werk von Rainer Maria Rilke.
