I love this story of Q - a spin off from the Bond universe but equally good for those who aren’t fans of spy novels. Lots of action, humour and plot twists. Can’t wait for the sequel

I didn't realise when I started this that Q was Q as in MI6, James Bond etc, but I thoroughly enjoyed the story and characters and hope there will be more books to come.

Quite different from the author's previous books that I've listened to, but just as good.

The narration was also very good.

Overall a strong recommend!!!

This has just about everything I want in a crime thriller - intriguing plot, great characters laced with good humour. Alexander Armstrong’s performance is, as expected, peerless.

When I first heard that this book was being written, I thought it was an intriguing idea and I just hoped it would turn out to be good. Well, it absolutely has!

I think this is a great story, very well executed, and also wonderfully read by Alexander Armstrong.

I’m really looking forward to seeing out this series develops and I hope Mr Armstrong continues as the voice actor.

I just hope we don’t have to wait too long before the next book comes out!

Building on the world of James Bond, Q’s retirement is not quite what you’d expect. Enjoyable detective story with cameos from Ian Fleming’s universe.

Q has found his new vocation and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
