Summary

When it comes to picking out the coding language that you want to work with, there are a lot of different options that you can go with. Some are going to provide you with a lot of power. Some are going to work specifically with certain operating systems. And others are going to work the best when it comes to working on a website or online. But one of the best coding languages for you to work with that will help improve your coding experience and will help you to do a lot of different programming applications, then you have to learn how to work with Python.

Python is going to be a great coding language that helps you to really do a good job with many applications online and for programs that you want to make. It is easy enough for a beginner to use, in fact, it was designed to be used by those who are beginners and who have never coded before, while still having the strength that you need to handle some of the different harder applications, such as machine learning, that you would like to explore.

There are a lot of different benefits that come with using the Python language and this is why so many people like to spend time learning how to work with this kind of language. There are some benefits that you are going to enjoy when you decide to learn how to code with Python.

There are a lot of different support libraries that you are able to use. You will be able to find an extension and a library that works with Python for almost anything that you need. These libraries are great for providing you with the algorithms, the functions, and more that you need in order to get any coding task that you want to be done. You can work with just the traditional library that comes with Python originally, or you can go through and work with some of the other extensions and libraries based on the kind of project you would like to do.

Another benefit that comes with this coding language is all of the different integration features that happen. Python can be a good thing to a programmer because it is going to integrate what is known as the Enterprise Application Integration. This is going to be useful because it can make sure that you can work with different operating systems, different coding languages, and more. There is almost nothing that Python isn’t able to help you out with, so learning how to use it can be so great.

Python is also going to provide you with more productivity in the process. The language here is going to be designed as an object-oriented language, and it includes many different kinds of support libraries to help you get things done. Because of these resources, and the ease of use that comes with this language, the programmer is going to be able to get more done in a shorter amount of time. This can even help to improve how much productivity the programmer is going to enjoy while using some different coding languages along with Python.

This guide will focus on the following:

  • Why python
  • Python for Data Analysis - Basics
  • Python Operators
  • Supervised Learning Algorithms

Excellent for getting into data analysis

So this is a great book for in-betweeners like me. I don't need a tutorial on how to program, but I'm not so well versed in math that nuances of statistics are obvious to me. It's a book I'll keep handy in situations where I'll have an opportunity to make some money with large data sets, and this book will brief me on what I need to know to move forward.

Perfect for Intro to Python and programming

Perfect for Intro to Python and programming. I am really enjoying this listen. I haven't attempted to code anything in so many years I forgot every languages I knew before. Wanted to ease back into programming. this was perfect. seems kind of crash-course, but still good for anyone who just wants to gain a familiarity. I would recommend this to anyone.

Everything alright about python

I hope it will informative and able to provide you with all of the tools you need to achieve your goals. You've started the long and often arduous journey of programming in this book. And the best thing about it? There's no finite endpoint. There's never going to be a point in programming where you say enough is enough, or where you reach some kind of "peak" in your knowledge. Well, technically speaking, maybe, but only if you quit trying will you have hit a peak.

Amazing book

I found other online materials and books to be either too simple or too advanced. This book is perfect, challenging yet very well explained and easy to follow. It is learning through practice examples. Highly recommended.

Excellent information

I love this book. I grew up learning BASIC and taught myself assembly language at a young age but became a physician instead. Over the years, I've kept my interest in computers on and off. I have taken professional level courses in C, C++ and taught myself JAVA and UNIX shell so I'm not computer illiterate but have to admit that I've been rusty and out of the game for a long time

Marvelous one

Lots of useful and practical stuff in this book, too bad the binding is so poor. I am not hard on my books, and this book hasn't been used heavily at all, so it's disappointing that the binding would just come off by laying it flat.

Really good book

I have been studying Python for several months now. So maybe what I have learned up to this point impacted how I feel about this book. That said, of all the python books I have this one has come across as one of the most practical and effective in teaching the basic principles. If you are learning Python, I highly recommend this book. Of course with any book, you must take the time to read and work through the examples.

Five star

I started learning Python on Udacity and was very lost. This was recommended to me by another student, and it has a wonderful supplement. I would recommend this to any beginner.

Magnificent

If you're wondering whether to invest the time learning yet another fashionable language, this book is a good place to start. It includes the usual, "Hello World" intro material but makes the language lessons much more relevant by including all sorts of practical uses - how to do screen scraping, how to dig information out of a spreadsheet, how to deal with files, etc. In short, it gets you started learning Python but also shows you why you might *want* to learn Python.

Very helpful

Book is very helpful if you are just starting to learn P like I am . The author also has a video edition of this same book and that way I can watch and do the programming at the same time. I can go at my own speed that way and he has a great ability to explain things that make sense. He is way easier to understand than some of my profs who may have been smart, but were terrible at teaching.

Useful resources

For the price it's not bad at all, but I feel like if they upped the price a few bucks and improved materials used, I would have been happier. If learning python though, it's a solid book to start with and oftentimes paper can be very helpful.

Strongly recommended

This book is a good book for reference. It has helped me in my early times learning so far on the website, so I decided to buy the book. It's equally great in paper forms, with the exception of the materials used, it's not well binded and the paper feels a bit cheap.

Very informative

This book is the best one on Python that I’ve read so far. I was a beginner when I bought it but I feel like it’s a great reference guide for experts too. Also the author explains things in a really witty and concise way which leaves no room for any confusion. I’ve learnt almost everything I know about programming in Python from this book.
