Summary

From best-selling author Lexy Timms comes a billionaire crime romance that'll send your heart racing.

If Rachel felt her life was turned upside down before, she sure doesn't know what direction it's going now.

Detective Adrien Deluca rescued her from the warehouse, but he couldn't rescue her from all the other problems crowding around her. Her dead brother, who's actually very much alive and killing people across the city, the loss of her father, and the pressure of a company she never wanted, are weighing her down to the point she almost wishes she had stayed tied up in the warehouse.

Adrien can only watch her struggles from the sidelines. He tries to prop her up as much as he can, but the problem of Erik lies heavy between them. They both know it's only a matter of time before everything comes crashing down, but neither knows what form that last straw will take.

As troubles mount, they are so focused on Erik neither see the bigger danger looming ahead....

A threat no one anticipated, and no one knows how to stop.

Adrien vowed to protect her, but he has no idea just how hard that promise is going to be to keep.

True to the storyline

Wow, this is what I love about Lexy’s writing, she is so true to the characters even if they are shocking to the reader/listeners. Lexy shows no fear in her writing. Absolutely brilliant storyline with great characters. Good performance from Ferdie.

Great series!

I was honestly expecting a little more sizzle, but this was still a great series!!! Very real/believable and intense. Had me rooting for some characters and waffling back and forth between being frustrated/sympathetic/angry at others. A very nice close to the series, definitely reccomend it!
