Summary

Elise is fractured inside, stained by a past she refuses to remember.

Merrick is scarred both inside and out, a half-breed with a brutal background, at home nowhere in the universe.

Now they are tied together by an unstable bond which could kill them both. Their journey will take them to the lawless planet of Rageron - the wildest of all the Kindred worlds. There, in the deep blue jungles of an alien world, Elise must bare her soul and relive the horror that nearly killed her. Can she and Merrick make each other whole or will Elise run from her pain?

If she does, Merrick cannot help but chase her...Elise is being Pursued.

I love this series!

The adventures, trails, and intrigue always seem blend well as new characters are added to the group of core characters. Please hurry and convert the remaining books in the series to audible books.

Great story okay narration

This narrator doesn’t do female voices very well. Half of them sound whiny and nasally. Otherwise he did well. I still enjoyed the story. I’d read it previously on Kindle and it’s one of my favorites in the Brides of the Kindred series.

Overall pretty good

This was an entertaining book, I really wish we could have spent more time exploring the alien worlds. But if you love the Kindred series than you will like the addition to the saga.

Awesome

It is so good that I couldn’t turn it off!
The whispers of the mind was great although I missed the hum of the ship in the background.

I love hearing William Martin in my ear, he has a

wonderful voice. The story is engaging. I imagined Elise being tougher since she was a lawyer, I still liked it.

Yummy as usual.

Very much a steamy romance with some adventures in the deep blue jungle. Merrick in this book is scrumptious, but Elise had some too stupid to live moments and some get over it moments but overall, I liked her. They both have terrible backgrounds they needed to overcome, and a bond that is killing them both. The author has created several arcing stories that will keep you coming back for more, and I am happy to do so. But if you have read up to here you already know you like this series. I am looking forward to the next book with Lissa and Saber. Narrator has a sexy voice when it comes to the regular reading and the male voices, the women’s not so much.

trigger warning

the overall story was great as usual. I love her books. but if you been through any trauma at all the story can be a little hard to get through. so just brace yourself for some scenes I find myself having to take a break.

Good book only one thing

The whisperings near ration of the characters internal feelings gets on your nerves after a while
